Green world of Alexis Gauthier !, 28 Mar. 2013
It is not just a cookbook, but also a presentation of vegetables, fruits and their history. You will find some anecdotes, souvenirs from the Chef Alexis Gauthier in France and United States.
As a French girl growing up in South of France, I identified myself with some passages of the book.
Recipes inside the book are graded according to ease preparation and execution (easy, medium, hard).I tried some recipes and it was wonderful... hard level is a bit hard to begin but other recipes are ok (cf.pictures on my blog [...])
Introduction of the book made me laugh with the metaphor between vegetables and gay which is rather realistic.
It was a pleasure to read the book but also a pleasure for eyes thanks to nice pictures.
This book will make you love vegetables even more than before !!!
