5.0 out of 5 stars Cute and good value, 6 July 2014

Nice badges with a British / London theme. They look exactly like the picture and cost less than they do at Heathrow Airport (the only place I've seen them on sale). I bought them for my students and they have proved to be very popular.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too fiddly, 6 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I've had Salter timers before and I've been very happy with them, this is why I ignored all the negative reviews and purchased this one. Bad move. The buttons stick so badly that setting the timer becomes a two-hand operation. You have to press the buttons repeatedly to set the time, start and stop it. Very frustrating. The ring tone is good, I have no trouble hearing it beep from the living room next door even when the TV is on. The magnet on the back is good and the fold-up stand is an added bonus. Shame the buttons don't work.

Jesus' Christmas Party
Jesus' Christmas Party
by Nicholas Allan
Edition: Paperback
Price: 5.24

5.0 out of 5 stars Our favourite Christmas book, 15 Dec 2013
This review is from: Jesus' Christmas Party (Paperback)
My 2.5-year-old loves this book. It's an interesting twist on the Nativity story and I enjoy reading it to him. It's got just the right amount of words and it's the right length for little ones. The illustrations are good too. Buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, 30 July 2013

We bought this last summer and still using it (my son is now 26 months, weighing 13.5 kilos). It's well made and sturdy, reasonably easy to inflate and keeps the baby upright and supported. There's really no need to buy an expensive ring, this one is just perfect.

3.0 out of 5 stars Got a year out of it, 30 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ours lasted a year of heavy use before it started leaking and had to be replaced. I had hoped for a longer life span, but it wasn't meant to be. Otherwise a good kettle, boils water fast and looks good on the worktop once you get used to the shine. My parents have had theirs for 18 months now and it's still going strong, but they live in a soft water area and I wonder if that's something to do with it.

Reindeer's Christmas Colouring: Colour, Christmas
Reindeer's Christmas Colouring: Colour, Christmas
by Gemma Cooper
Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars Colour, colour, colour, 9 Jan 2013
This is an old-fashioned colouring book. No stickers, no words, no puzzles, no extras, just 32 pages of Christmas pictures to colour in. Suitable for younger kids: just make sure they have pencils, felt tips and crayons!

CHRISTMAS STICKER & ACTIVITY BOOK
CHRISTMAS STICKER & ACTIVITY BOOK
by Maria Constant
Edition: Paperback
Price: 4.52

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun activity book, 9 Jan 2013
A tasteful Christmas book, with 22 pages of pictures to colour, dot-to-dots, wordsearch grids, spot the difference and other activities. There are also 33 stickers, 15 press-out gift tags and two door hangers. Although not terribly exciting, it is well presented and would make a decent stocking filler for school-age kids.

by Fiona Watt
Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty but fiddly, 9 Jan 2013
If you love stickers this book won't disappoint, but it's a bit fiddly due to its size. As another reviewer pointed out, it can be irritating trying to work out which stickers go with which scene, as there are so many - scenes as well as stickers! Other than that, no complaints. My 7-year-old nephew loved it.

THE STORY OF CHRISTMAS
THE STORY OF CHRISTMAS
by Maria Constant
Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars From Nazareth to Bethlehem, 9 Jan 2013
This review is from: THE STORY OF CHRISTMAS (Paperback)
This book tells the story of Mary and Joseph. There is a short paragraph on each page describing the journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem along with a picture to colour in and complete with stickers. There are puzzles to solve along the way, such as mazes, crosswords and dot-to-dots. The extra folds on the front and back covers provide cut-out material for making a nativity scene.

The book allows younger kids to explore the religious significance of Christmas in a fun and engaging way. You should ensure you have glue, scissors, sticky tape and thread on standby to avoid frustration and disappointment - this is very much a book that requires adult supervision.

Christmas Colouring and Activity Book (Usbone Colouring and Activity Books)
Christmas Colouring and Activity Book (Usbone Colouring and Activity Books)
by Kirsteen Rogers
Edition: Paperback
Price: 4.96

4.0 out of 5 stars Colouring and doodling for older kids, 8 Jan 2013
This is a very attractive book aimed at school-age children. It is larger than most Usborne books in the "First" series (First Santa, First Christmas etc.) both in terms of size and number of pages. The book is arranged as follows: there are 15 holiday themes such as Christmas presents, penguins and snowmen, and each theme covers two pages. The page on the left is for doodling and creating pictures, the page on the right is for colouring in. There is also a useful page with colouring hints and tips at the end of the book. The only thing I didn't like, and the reason why I gave it four stars, is the black background used in the colouring pages. I guess it's done to make the designs look more elegant and grown-up, but to me they look a bit depressing.
