5.0 out of 5 stars Boy Meets Boy, 11 Mar. 2005
This review is from: Boy Meets Boy (Hardcover)
Boy Meets Boy is a story about a group of school kids growing up in a very diverse society. Nobody seems to care if your gay, bi or straight, male of female. This provides a homophobia-free environment for the story to take place in. The book ia written entirely in first person, from the point of view of Paul, a gay teenager.
The book opens up with a description of one of Paul's friends, Tony and describes the town that they live in. Zeke, another on of Paul's friends is gigging at the local bookstore where he meets Noah, who changes everything. The two become boyfriends, hence the title, Boy Meets Boy.
The book is targeted at gay teens as something to pick up and hopefully feel right, its a book that says being gay is normal and that people should be more accepting, but above all its a book that you can smile about. A gay book with a happy ending. I would recommend anyone to read this, even if you've finished school. Its just a pitty that life isnt really like the book protrays is to be.

Microsoft Optical Mouse by S+arck ~ Blue
Microsoft Optical Mouse by S+arck ~ Blue

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice style, 4 Dec. 2004
This mouse has, undeniably, a nice style to it with the blue/orange light running in the middle. It looks futuristic, and at night with lights off looks even better. But it does not feel futuristic, its just like any other mouse really.
You might be able to tell from the picture on Amazon that the button run down the entire mouse instead of just at the end, much like the Appla Mac mouse of recent which take some getting used to. The mouse itself is also very small (well, smaller than the Explorer) and clicking both buttons (left and right) is an easy thing to do. On the up side though, the wheel works very well, and is nice and smooth.
The mouse is optical, which you have probably already figured. The optical scanning though is not particularly impressive, with the curser occasionally darting to the top right corner of my screen which is annoying to put it mildly - especially when playing a first person shooter.
However, that said, if you want style over functionality, I would recommend this mouse. It just looks so damn kewl. Would recomment using it on a grained surface.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, 21 Oct. 2003
This review is from: Lizard (Audio CD)
This single has the original Megavoices mix with a mix by Tall Paul. The Megavoices mix is one hell of a tune that takes a little while to get going. There's a hard trance section in the middle followed by the mellowist breakdown I have heard. In between of this, you have the snare drum rolls, typical of this artist and a monotonus beat that for some reason, sounds brilliant. If you can get this single on CD, get it but expect to pay a lot. This good music doesn't come cheap, particularly as its rare.
