Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Can be a little tricky in low light situtations for otherwise I think it's great for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good bundle but case can be tricky, 27 Feb. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Good bundle! has everything you need apart from Keyboard and Mouse! Only issue was the case does not seem to fit the Pi properly...It seems you have to sand down a small part inside for the Pi to fit correctly

For those of you wondering, here is a video that shows what changed on the board and why the new Pi 2 does not fit the case correctly but it also shows how you can cut down a small piece inside the case to make it fit! It's quite easy and still worth the money if you don't mind doing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97ZKHqxOSfY

It's a long video fast forward tot he 6:10 mark to see where he starts fitting the case and first experiences the problem then solves it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good performance!, 9 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Pretty impressed with this laptop, bought it primarily for the GPU followed by the nice quad core cpu it comes with! so that I could play my games properly since I don't really have the space for a PC at the moment plus with moving about a lot a Laptop made sense. This laptop boots up pretty quick, the speakers are quite loud and clear for a laptop and it plays my games such as Payday 2 on medium settings and Rome Total War II on Medium to high settings. I've not really played around with the payday 2 graphics settings I left it at the defualt medium settings and works flawlessly I guess it could play a little higher if I tried but been too busy playing! The only thing I do NOT like about this laptop is Windows 8... That is mainly due to the new Metro interface and me missing the old traditional start button/menu, every now and then you are thrown back and forth between the metro and desktop interface depending on what program you use if its metro or not....quite annoying sometimes... I hear a rumour the start button/menu similiar to the windows 7 one may be back in the next windows 8.2 update though... fingers crossed!

A quick note for those people who it may bother as I noticed one review complain about this. The battery does seem to be built in so it isn't as simple to replace as other laptops if it was ever needed...but I assume this battery should last a good while before it needs to be replaced, also if you use the pre installed Toshiba health/tools software there is an option to pro long your battery life if you are like me and will always have the laptop connected to the mains power! IT prevents the battery from charging above 80% and then stops charging as to prevent a full charge cycle to help pro long the life of your battery so it would take longer before you need to think about replacing it.

Overall I think this is a good laptop for the price! Sure there are cheaper laptops! around £300 or so... but they dont really come equipped with a processor or GPU as good as the one this has and arent really suitable for playing decent games.

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesnt work on all tv's..., 31 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this as part of a present for my dad's birthday to go with his Amazon Kindle Fire HD. A bit disappointing as it will not work on his TV, Plug it into the TV, then choose the setting on the TV to recieve signal from the HD cable...nothing just a black screen, sometimes it says incompatible that's as far as we get... no idea why it wont work. His tv is a Sony Bravia I think. tried it on my TV a hitachi and it works flawlessly...what the hell??? Be careful buying this cable if you have a Sony TV.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good game, 24 Dec. 2012

It's a good game, graphics are improved a LOT since the first Medieval in the battles you take part in.

My only problem with this game is the campaign map, there's something about it, I don't quite get on with it so well I much prefered the old style campaign map from first Medieval, it was easier to control tax in some areas and control certain things, new one seems a bit.. too much with toomuch eye candy spoiling it for me I prefer the old simpler easier to navigate look. But thats just me, as a result I just play custom, scenario and multiplayer battles with this and play the campaign on the First Medieval when I feel like it.
