1.0 out of 5 stars Warning: Image is stretched to 16:9, 25 Jan. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I would urge people to stay away from this new box, as the advertised 16:9 image is only the old 4:3 image stretched to fit a 16:9 screen, meaning that everyone looks very short and fat. This set should be recalled and reissued with corrected discs - until this happens I wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic black metal from classic Gorgoroth line-up, 24 Dec. 2008
In my opinion, this is not only Gorgoroth's greatest album, it is also one of the greatest black metal albums ever released. Amazing riffs by Infernus, blood-curdling vocals by Pest, and a brilliantly dirty and raw production - this is definitely a must-have albums for those who have even a vague interest in Norwegian black metal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, 12 Oct. 2008
I totally disagree with the other reviewer who gave only two stars - this is a brilliant compilation of Pentagram's seventies recordings, including classics such as "Starlady" and "Be Forewarned". That they happened to co-exist with Black Sabbath doesn't mean that they were Sabbath wannabes - they've got their own thing going, and this album is definitely a must-buy for those who like their doom old school.

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid this release, 28 Mar. 2008
This review is from: Seraphim Falls [DVD] (DVD)
This is not a review of the movie itself (I liked the movie, and would probably give it 3,5 stars), but of the DVD. This UK release should be avoided, as the image is cropped from its original 2.40:1 aspect ratio to an aspect ratio of 1.78:1, removing a whole lot of picture information from the sides. This is just as bad as cropping a 1.85:1 aspect ratio movie down to a 4:3 pan & scan version. Get the region 1 version instead.
