5.0 out of 5 stars Classic masterpiece, 13 April 2008
This review is from: Paris 1919 (Audio CD)
Even after 25 odd years, this album produced by Chris Thomas still shines as Cale's easy-listening Masterpiece.

Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars As good as a commercial collection could be expected, 25 Dec 2007
It's great to be able to have a DVD with most of the gems all in one place.

Highlights for me are the early years in the highest quality I've ever seen them, especially remake/remodel, and the eye-patch-but-still-cool Ferry.

Not as interesting as the extremely rare 'A Perfumed Sigh' compilation, but very good indeed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Just plain awful, 25 Aug 2007
I would love to believe UFOs exist - it would make the universe even more interesting.

Unfortunately, this book does the whole UFO subject a great dis-service. In over 400 pages, there is not one single example of 'proof' of any kind.

One thing that is really odd about this book is the references to the colours of the flying-saucers. Each supposed witness, from different countries in different decades describes the lights seen as two-tone. i.e. blue-white, or red-orange, or blue-green. So basically, I think he's making most these conversations up. The consistency of the wording in these quotations is far too similar - they read as if they've all been written by the same person. Funny that.
