5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic!, 18 Dec. 2005
An absolute must for avid readers, especially those searching for something, which is wonderful in style and co-ordination. The book is well balanced – and yet when you finish your memories of each poem just make you want to open up and start all over again. I think this book is appealing to all poetry lovers, a treasure for everyone, and for people who don’t read poetry, this little gem would certainly get you started!
Creative and unique, I have never read a collection quite like it before, and I can only hope Harriet Green comes back with some more, she keeps it all together, and we can believe in her poetical style. This book has my top rating, in favourable contentment. Congratulations on this gem piece, I couldn’t put it down, and now I can sit and look at the world from a different point of view, some fruits will never be the same again, and sexy poetry is more needed in our growing contemporary market.

Contemporary Problems Nos. 53 & 54: Short Stories
Contemporary Problems Nos. 53 & 54: Short Stories
by Rosemary Jenkinson
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.95

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read, 19 Dec. 2004
A truly inspirational debut from award winning Rosemary Jenkinson. The stories are set in Europe England and Belfast; delivering a superb read from this writer's clever mind. The wit and humour should be noted, as this book is for everyone! Truly inspiring how this writer can actually piece together short stories for such a wide audience, she can draw the vividness of her experiences that totally draws the reader in, my mind is painted with joyous imagery after this read; I felt I was there at times!
She writes in Body Beautiful "Nine in morning and the frost was misting off the roofs and steaming above the trees in haloes warmed by low sun. Workers were walking fast, snores still in their nostrils, spuming out a great mist of handlebar whiskers". In one short paragraph you can see here this innovative challenging writer who can make you laugh and simply take you there!
A new great voice for the future, a truly amazing talent that hopefully will go far! Rosemary Jenkinson proves she can deliver perfected literature to a wide range of people.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Next Generation of Poets, 28 Sept. 2004
The Next Generation of Poets, that's what they say!
An enjoyable read, with pleasant wit and lyrical content flowing very well. A deep look into the life of a child, a student, a women, and now a writer.
In the poetry scene we will appreciate more of Leontia Flynn in the future, and can only hope it doesn't take too long.
