Brilliant cover, it feels great and looks great. Unique designs compared to plain generic covers. Fits perfectly and price reasonable. Would really recommend it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing, a real anti-climax, 6 Jun 2011
I was so impressed by the first book in the series, having given it a 5 star rating, I was looking forward to reading the second book in ther series. However this turned out to be possibly one of the worst books I have read. Where the first book had great characters and relationships, and a well thought out plot, this book had none! The main characters were awful, totally bland, no depth and their relationship unbelievable. Having being 'in love' and waiting for a prince for 6 years she suddenly switches to another man instantly. He is meant to be an impossible bachelour yet is so boring and one dimensional. The spend hardly anytime together yet are in love, and not even in a believable way. The author hints at a spinster club yet doesnt really expand or explain, the impossible bachelours is but a byline and not a big part of this story. This book seemed rushed, not well thought out and frankly boring. Where as the first book was brilliant, this will be going straight to the charity shop.

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic and original, 16 May 2011
one of the funniest, most original romances i have ever read. You fall in love with the characters and their chemistry. It was great they they already knew each other before they began to see each other differently - not another love at first sight book! A must read.

A Place of Execution

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books I have ever read, 11 Feb 2010
This review is from: A Place of Execution (Paperback)
I have read nearly all of the Wire in the Blood series so I had high expectations for this book...and I wasn't dissapointed. This really is one of the best books I have ever read. The story is amazong, the twists make your head spin, the characters are brilliant, if at times frustrating. When you get towards the end don't even think you will be able to put the book down until you reach the end. Have recommended this book to all my friends. A real must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing book!, 24 Oct 2007
This is by far the best book i have read by Lora Leigh and they are all pretty amazing. This is so hot i was blushing through most of the book but you really do care about the characters, especially the brothers. You learn more about them in the 2nd book of this trilogy, but for the first book this sets the bar really high for the others to follow. Fantastic book and again not for the faint-hearted.
