3.0 out of 5 stars Not quite what i was expecting, 11 Dec. 2011
After seeing the preview of this book through the Sketchup feature I was hoping to see more technical process but none of the process is in fact in this book, what you get is a few high end renders of the vehicles, but the vaste majority of the illustrations are marker style and somewhat reminiscent of college work. I appreciate it's a big idea and required more illustrations than time might have provided, but on the whole the balance of content in this book seems a little wrong.

As an introduction to a grand concept it's fine if very contrived, however as a coffee table book of illustrations is falling short.

Ok, when I was looking for monitors one of the prime items on the list is that it had not be black, and white was ideal. Secondly it had to have good colour and also a more compact pixel to match up with my Powerbook 17" it mates to, as the jump in pixel size to the average monitor is about 15% which is irritating when moving work between screens. Which brings me to the main thing I like about this screen- it fits what is effectively a 26" screen into 24"... you get an additional 300px height to the bottom of the screen relative to a 26" screen, which is useful for anyone not publishing wide-screen films.

Other than the screen which I like, the height is easily adjustable with a counter-tensioned mechanism using the stand. lots of USB ports to tidy up the cables and also a cover to hide them from behind.
