2015 one week to a view A5 diary
Offered by GD Limited
Price: £1.90

5.0 out of 5 stars Plain and simple, 26 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Exactly what it says on the tin, not the best quality but for so cheap I didn't expect it to be. Good sized sections for each day to write events etc. Don't get to pic your colour so you get one at random but that's fine. Great product for the price.

Magicians [DVD]
Magicians [DVD]
Dvd ~ David Mitchell
Offered by best_value_entertainment
Price: £2.72

3.0 out of 5 stars It's not a BAD film, but doesn't show off their greatest work either., 21 July 2011
This review is from: Magicians [DVD] (DVD)
If you're a Mitchell and Webb fan (like I am) then this is a good film that allows you to see more of the duo performing together. However, if you're unfamiliar with their other work I'd not watch this before watching 'Peep Show' or 'That Mitchell and Webb Look'.

Defying Gravity
Defying Gravity
by Jane Anderson
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars A very thought provoking, touching play., 21 July 2011
This review is from: Defying Gravity (Paperback)
I first came across this play a couple of years ago when I was looking for a monologue for an exam. Since then I have used pieces from it for two other exams and an audition. There are so really good monologues in there for both male and female actors. It is an extremely well written piece of drama, the characters are so distincive and wonderful to play. If you are looking for something that will draw an audience in, something that you can play around with and make your own, something that is a little unconventional then this is the play for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Used for my A-Level exam text, 21 July 2011
Even if you're not using it as an A-Level text then it's a good read if journalism interests you. The articles really do display journalism at it's finest, and are often very thought provoking. As an A-Level text it was extremely nice to work with as it was very easy to recast the articles into other formats becuase the ideas of the writer are so well conveyed.

Good Omens
Good Omens
by Neil Gaiman
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Just awesome, 29 May 2011
This review is from: Good Omens (Paperback)
Having only read 'Good Omens' because I kept seeing 'Tumblr' (social networking site if you didn't know) posts about it, I have to say that I was extremely delighted by it. It's witty, well written, good plot, nice, well-rounded character - very much what I have come to expect from Prachett and Gaiman. I can't recommend it enough.

The Harrowing
The Harrowing
by Alexandra Sokoloff
Edition: Paperback
Price: £5.99

3.0 out of 5 stars I quite liked this book, 29 May 2011
This review is from: The Harrowing (Paperback)
If you just want something to read to pass the time and ghost stories are you thing then this is a good book. The characters sometimes lack the dimensions that I've come to expect have read other works, but the plot is pretty tight and interesting (definately some interesting plot twists in there). It's easy to read and not too taxing on the mind, so definatly one for if you're just reading because you're bored.

Orientation (Gunnerkrigg Court, Vol. 1)
Orientation (Gunnerkrigg Court, Vol. 1)
by Thomas Siddell
Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliantly written, wonderfully drawn, 30 Dec. 2010
After being introducted to Gunnerkrigg by a friend (who kindly brought me this as a gift for Christmas) I was hooked to the story. It's amazingly detailed and is full of plot twists, rich characters, witty dialogue and colourful action. It's lovely to see a comic that is both well written and well drawn - the illustrations becoming more and more refined as the story progresses. I can't recommened this highly enough.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read, 30 Dec. 2010
Brought after I developed a bit of a passion for all things Sherlock Holmes - it's well written and the story is interesting, but the character of Sherlock Holmes is slightly lacking at times. Also, with the third person narrative you can't help but miss Watson's telling of the story. But diffinatly a good book for anyone wanting to ease themselves into the stories.
