This true story will linger in your thoughts for days...
With its beguiling beginning you would not expect the cataclysmic turn of events that will cause such emotional devastation and move you to tears.
Beautifully written, thought provoking and with lessons in life.
A great read.
Thank you, Karen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Full of 'feel good' warmth. A great read, 4 Oct. 2010

Karen Wheeler has done it again. With this second book she has not lost any of the joie de vivre and vivacity of her first book...I laughed and cried....almost at the same time. I had no idea until I read Tout Sweet and now Tout Allure that living in rural France could be such a dizzying and heady mix of ups and downs. This book is a joy to read with real, real characters. It is at the same time, entertaining and very funny, cringingly painful, touchingly human and sad, refreshing in optimism and exhilarating in fulfilment. With a houseful of noisy Portuguese builders living next door, unconditional love in the form of four furry paws and French tantrums in the line-dancing competition.....I loved it all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious - I loved every minute of it, 6 July 2009
This is such a great read, I couldn't put it down. It's an extremely funny and true account of a woman starting a new life in France....alone. While seeking to attract a handsome and 'useful' male, the author is equally dodging unsuitables. You cannot help but love her natural enthusiasm and her fun personality. Karen Wheeler's writing brings her experiences vividly to life to make this first book a real page turner. Hilarious and brilliant.

Wonderful playing. This performer lacked nothing; pefect intonation, virtuosic technique, sensitive and passionate without being sentimental, fine musical understanding and interpretation, clear and resonant tone with multitudes of shades. I just love it.
