Champion Mens 100% Brushed Cotton Striped Pyjamas - Small to 3XL

1.0 out of 5 stars Shrunk on washing for first time, 6 Oct 2014

I was perfectly happy with these pyjamas — until I washed them, at 30˚C — and they shrank horribly. The trousers had fit well, but after washing, they reached only halfway down my shins!

I naturally requested to return the product, but the request was rejected because 30 days had elapsed since my order (I didn't start wearing them for a while after purchase!)

Very disappointed with both product and lack of customer service. :(

5.0 out of 5 stars A treasure trove of insight, 6 Mar 2014

As someone just discovering the world of pricing strategy a few months back, I found this book an invaluable primer as well as a thoroughly engaging read.

I have already applied several of the book's suggestions in designing dynamic pricing software (for my startup), and intend to test drive the value-based consultancy pricing approach at a biz dev meeting this morning - after years of consulting on fixed day rates.

Thoroughly recommended to anyone with even a tangential interest in pricing or indeed psychology.

Business Plan Template for a Startup Business

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly written and structured, 11 Aug 2012

"This is very important section for a business plan" - the appallingly poor writing style of this book, and the number of basic grammatical errors it contains, disappointed me greatly. You happily take my money, yet can't be bothered to have your book proof read?

As for the contents of the book, it lacks any kind of introduction or overview, diving straight into the detail of the business plan.

Steer clear.

4.0 out of 5 stars Packed with insights and information, 26 Dec 2006
An excellent and comprehensive guide to "Mobile Web 2.0". I heartily recommend this book to anyone who would like to deepen their understanding of the potential for glorious creative explosions (and thereby business opportunities) where mobile and web collide.

Only the rather low standard of sub-editing (typos abound) and graphical reproduction (diagrams are not always easy to decipher) lose this book its fifth star in my book. But this is still a must-read for students of the social and mobile web.

Becoming The Enchanter: A Journey to the Heart of the Celtic Mysteries
Becoming The Enchanter: A Journey to the Heart of the Celtic Mysteries

5.0 out of 5 stars The Woven Weaver, 6 Nov 2003

I read this book in a handful of days, careering through its chapters without heed to the deliciously confusing bewitchment it was working upon me. Webster Wilde evokes intricately interwoven narrative planes, ranging from fabulous mythic mists and visionary vistas, via the emotionality and sexuality of relationship, to down-at-heel realms of divorce and depression within a disorientingly collapsed time structure (did a month pass? A year, perhaps?) and sets the whole dancing in the play of magical numbers, living geometries of story, people and place. I was - I am - caught inextricably in her web. And at once know that I am at the very centre of my own... And the Web trembles with life in every moment!
If you would know the Way of the Weaver, this wondedrful book may just tease out your threads...

If you're a serious student of Japanese, you need this book: all 2000 of the basic kanji with kunyomi and onyomi readings and compounds. Mindbending!
