The Crediton Killings (Knights Templar Mysteries Book 4)
Price: £7.99

5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant, as usual, 7 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A perfect example of a typical Michael Jecks historical novel, full of content and historical background well researched.I would comend any new reader to historical fiction to delve into any of his works before trying other authors,as he and Paul Doherty set the standard that others aspire to.

5.0 out of 5 stars the brilliant Paul Doherty, 17 Sept. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Yet again Paul Doherty hits the spot with another brother Athelstan book.Everything this prolific writer brings out is very readable, even if, unlike me, you are not a historical reader.Full of information and detail all his books show a vivid snapshot of times past and his cast of characters is wonderful. If you have never read a Paul Doherty book, then I suggest you try,and you will be hooked.Of all his series of books,I like this the best. This book has it all...Murder mystery and suspense and also a romantic longing with forbidden feelings.

5.0 out of 5 stars always brilliant, 17 April 2012
Kate Sedley is a must read for lovers of medieval mysteries. All Roger the Chapman books are brilliant and I am always on the lookout for anything else she has written. If you have never tried this genre, then prepare yourself for a treat and delve into the past with this atmospheric writer.

2.0 out of 5 stars a lot of words that say nothing, 17 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I was mildly disappointed reading this book as I expected to know more about the man and the Pierrepoint family and instead it was a body by body count.I thought it would explain why he took this type of job and didn't expect to hear it was for the money. All in all, a bit flat.
