4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent but difficult, 15 Dec 2012

Very important presentation and explanation of quantum physics, instilling hope that ordinary people can see miracles achieved, telling them about the experiments that have been actually carried out by governments. However, I thought it is far more difficult for most laymen and I think that an easier version can be published. That said, one of the most important ideas and strong advice that the author continuously put forward is quite easy: less is better, i.e. don't try to be in control of what you want and keep indulging on how, when, what if and so on, but to set your intent and let go... However, setting your intent should not be done at the mental level that already have put forward what you want, but in your chest, heart or the place where the soul may be residing - this is also the point where the marriage between science and spirit forms one of the main themes, if not the main theme, of the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Marriage of science and the realm of the unseen, 15 Dec 2012

Bruce Lipton talks to you in a straight forward voice, as a friend, on how he came from being a rigid biology scientist who believes - like anyone from the same circle - in Darwinism as it is still being taught, without any regard to the unseen or beyound the physical, to opening up to the metaphysical, not as a separate thing, but as the logical explanation to the secret of life as he knows quite well on cellular level. With this, New Biology is born, in which the old Darwinian ideas are not unquestionable as it is still the case in biology and medical departments, but one that utilises quantum physics and the latest discoveries of genetics and histology. All this came to him in one moment of enlightenment in the Caribbean, something which, though there is no reason to disbelieve it as the man talks in such a genuine manner, many would not accept as the important thing in the story of such profound change of outlook to science and life. Perhaps because Bruce Lipton is quite truthful, he only wrote what happened. Excellent book.

Secrets Of The Lost Mode Of Prayer: The Hidden Power Of Beauty, Blessing, Wisdom, And Hurt
Secrets Of The Lost Mode Of Prayer: The Hidden Power Of Beauty, Blessing, Wisdom, And Hurt

4.0 out of 5 stars Eye opener to people in all traditions, 15 Dec 2012

In Islam, we have the strong advice of absolutely believing that what you are praying for is imminent 'Pray and believe that your need as at your doorstep' as one narration says, however, people fail to shake the uncertainty within them. In this book, Gregg Braden tells people that this is indeed the prayer. But that is not all: so that people realy activate this utter belief in the divine to whom they are praying for anything, their weaknesses should be addressed, and here comes the role of how to utilise the hurt, then the blessing, then the beauty in everything. The only thing that I didn't like is the glossy paper it is printed on - the colours, the size, artistic touch are beautiful, but the glare from the glossy paper was a little nuisance, not hindering reading though and should not be any reason not to have this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 15 Dec 2012

The big ideas of quantum physics are laid in an easy to comprehend language. The author seems so close to you, talking as a friend. When he mentions himself, he does that in a humble way, not shying away from highlighting his weaknesses. You will never regret reading it and should benefit from it.
