5.0 out of 5 stars excelent product, 15 May 2011
bought one of these previously and ive had it nearly 3 years now so i bought another for my sister cant fault it at all the can opener part works perfect the bottle opener part the same and the knife sharpener is good too. sorry i cant be more specific as its just a good item that will last years especially if you have weak hands and find it painful using a manual can opener

5.0 out of 5 stars does the job perfect, 12 April 2011
i bought this for my air conditioner which i got without the necessary pipe. although it was difficult to put on that wasnt down to the product, it was down to the fitment on my air conditioning unit so i had to stretch it a little. if i used this for my tumble dryer it would work perfectly so in that respect this item is as described and as in picture.

something to bear in mind is my air conditioning unit blows out a large volume of air and this pipe can take it no problems. tumble dryers put out a lot less pressure so this would be perfectly fine on a tumble dryer

4.0 out of 5 stars Doeas the job perfect, 12 April 2011
This review is from: Jumbo LCD Timer (Kitchen & Home)
Nice and loud so you can hear it in another room when the doors are closed. robust as i dropped it from 5ft and it didnt brake. magnet could do with being stronger but if your careful when you put it on your fridge it wont fly off. slight downfall is you have to look at the right angle to see the numbers but this is no big deal. another minor problem is you have to hold it in your hand when your pressing buttins. you cant push them while its on the fridge as the magnet isnt strong enough to hold it while you do this. i have no use for the clip so i cant really rate that.

Overall its a good unit but it would be better if it was cheaper and the magnet was stronger.

3.0 out of 5 stars not what i ordered, 24 May 2010
This review is from: AK3841 Coil Spring Compressor 2pc
i recieved the spring compressors in good time, although they are not the ones i ordered nor was it stated anywhere that they were an alternative. theres no point sending them back as they are really heavy. not used them yet but they are a lesser brand than the ones i expected (sealy i expected i got lazer) its worth checking before you order with the seller

got this item very quickly and im mostly pleased with it. i have a sky plus box and didnt have much of a problem installing this unit. instructions were really good although i needed an adapter so i could fit the coax to my sky box. the sky rf2 output on the box has a male connector which was an issue. i had no problems navigating through the sky menu to find the part to turn on the rf power and also what was handy was it tells you the channel signal to tune in on your other tv (68 in my case) so tuning in the other tv was very easy i just entered the numbers.

because i didnt know i needed a female connection to the sky box when i first set it up i used a 3 way adapter which allowed it to work but the picture was pretty poor. i only did this as it was the only thing i had in my house at the time. since then i bought a coupler (female to female usually used when you need to extend a coax lead) once i used this the picture improved a lot but it isnt perfect. i know why the picture isnt perfect its because the cable from room to room is thin cheap low quality stuff. i will purchase some better cable which is thicker. i have been told by a sky engineer to get coax that is insulated with polystyrene type stuff so thats what im going to do.

as a final summary, if you want to buy this it will apparently work on all sky boxes including the latest skyHD, check your sky box RF2 connector and if it is a male connector you will need a coupler and finally use good quality coax cable to go between rooms. overall a good product as long as your aware of these things. if like me its only going into the next room or something this is a nice cheap option as apposed to using wireless av senders which cost a lot more and can produce a dark and possibly poor quality picture on the second tv.
