3.0 out of 5 stars Fun but sometimes hard to read, 24 May 2014

This is great family fun and we use it to make decisions on silly things. However, it is often hard to read with the answer being unclear.

Of the 4 bottles, one pump has stopped working after a few use. Another one has recently stopped working (less than 6 months of occasional use) Disappointing quality. 2 are still working.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed - doesn't fit iPad Air well, 14 Dec 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Have previously purchased this case for iPad Mini. This was well made and fitted well. So when we got the iPad Air, decided to go for the same case. Unfortunately, the new case for iPad Air is not of the same quality as the one for the iPad Mini, which we purchased a year ago.

The design, although look the same, the material seems to be less sturdy (thinner?) and doesn't have the TeckNet logo on it. The worst bit is that the fit is really poor. The iPad Air actually moves as there is so much space in the case, and as a result, the bottom corners are always sticking out (which means limited protection of those corners if the iPad is dropped). Also the camera hole and the home key button are very close to the rim of the case because of the movement of the iPad inside the case.

Well, wasted my money on this. Need to look for a better fit case.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed, 27 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having used Philips Sonicare electric toothbrushes for many years, I recently decided to try an Oral B electric toothbrush following the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, the metal tip on the toothbrush body, where the toothbrush is to be attached, has gone rusty after less than 2 months of use. Not the quality I expected.

2.0 out of 5 stars Inconsistent sizing, 2 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Crocs Kids Classic Clog (Apparel)
My son's previous pair was size 2. And so when he needed a new pair, I just ordered the identical colour but in size 3. Unfortunately, the size 3 was only marginally bigger than the old size 2, not even by 1/2cm. So they are too small and have to send them back.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money, 29 Dec 2009
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
My son thinks this is his worst toy ever. It is badly made. The stands don't stand on its own but need books to hold them down. He can't even get the car to reach the other end a single time as it kept falling off the rope. Don't buy it!

Typhoon Signature Lacquered Carbon Steel Wok Set 12"
Typhoon Signature Lacquered Carbon Steel Wok Set 12"

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 9 Feb 2009

This wok had all the trappings of a great product, but fell down at two hurdles:

1) All carbon steel woks need to be 'seasoned' and this one was no exception. However, it also had a lacquer that needed to be removed first (something they apparently apply to stop it rusting during transit). The wok came with instructions, but these were not very clear. For instance, you are told to heat up the wok with oil and then to wipe it clean (in order to remove the lacquer). Problem is you don't know what you are looking for to tell you that you have removed this lacquer. What they should tell you is that the lacquer is clear and so you CAN'T see if you have removed it. How do I know? I had to ring up the manufacturers to ask them how I can tell if the lacquer is gone. Thumbs up to them though, they are very nice and helpful. They also told me useful information like the wok will darken and this nutty brown covering may go on to be black and at times bits may flake off (like paint off a wall) - something that is natural and expected. Reassuringly they also told me that the lacquer is safe to be consumed. When I used the wok, it 'seasoned' and flaked as expected and was great to use.

2) The second problem is unforgivable. When you get the wok, you have to do some simply assembly (e.g. screw then handle on). After using the wok for about 3 weeks, the plastic handle cracked. There was no reason for this as I had used under 'normal' conditions. So I had to return it and thumbs up to Amazon, this was a simple process.

So to sum it up, good customer support from the manufacturer, but they should have used tougher plastic for the handle. Would I buy another Typhoon wok - NO, I don't trust that it will be well made :-(

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this, 15 April 2008
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This is totally a waste of money. It doesn't work. The tubings don't fit and it makes a mess. It doesn't teach children anything as it didn't work and leave the child disappointed. All it does is squirt red water everywhere!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but not perfect, 9 Mar 2007

We bought this vacuum cleaner as we wanted a light and powerful vacuum cleaner.

The machine is very light and easy to use. It is easy to empty and is great for hard floors (wood/tiles).

Not the machine for you if you want to use it mainly for carpets as the vacuum cleaner head provided has no brush/beater bar and just relies on suction.

Did not give this a 5 star rating as the accessory tool supplied is not very well designed and is a bit flimsy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Helps if it works, 5 Dec 2003
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Drive Image 7.0 (CD-ROM)
I bought this software after doing lots of research on the net about the different pros and cons of the various imaging software on the market. This one got good reviews from lots of places and so I stumped up my money and bought it. One of the main attractions for me was not having to mess aroiund with boot disks and going into DOS (if you own or know about Norton Ghost then you'll know what I mean).
It comes with slick tutorials, lots of advice and a good website. They even provide email support for when things go wrong.
Here's the big BUT.... I bought it, read the manual, did the free tutorials and installed the software. Within 6 seconds of running Drive Image 7 I got this error message:
Description: An error occurred creating a backup of drive C:\. Error E006000F: Attempting to read from an empty bitmap. Details: 0xE006000F Source: Drive Image 7.0
Now I know software is glitchy, but this happened despite numerous uninstalls and reinstalls etc. I finally sent an email to their support email address and was told that they have never come across this before - very comforting, not :-) and that I was welcome to fill in a "Solution: Information Needed for a Trouble Report (General)"
Well, I made my first request on 2/9/03 and its now 5/12/03 and still I have no solution.
You decide, sure there is support, but when things go wrong, would you want to be in my shoes and around £30 poorer?
As an aside, I bought Norton Ghost 2003 and it worked no problem (by the way I run a Dell Latitude C800 on Win 2 K SP4 - so if you own one of these, think twice about buying this software)
