This product arrived from Germany and only had slight damage to the packaging dispite the distance . The product is brilliant and can be used as a toy,(being in mind child age guidance.) or as a display along with other products from this toy manufacturer.
We loved it and would recommend it .

This robo fish looks good but didn't meet expectations. It "swims" head down and the power didn't last too long, ( there were spare batteries but we didn't use them as we didn't like the head down attitude of the fish"). The company who sent it was efficent and we have no problems with them.
Overall I would not recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great raid story, 11 Mar 2014

This is the story of the parachute regiments first raid. Great tale and very interesting, however I'll repeat what I've said about all the raid series- if you want the beautifully illustrated maps/3d explanations then buy the book ,NOT THE KINDLE VERSION. I buy the kindle version because I travel and do not have the room for the books and this suits me but I do wish I could study the maps in better detail.

5.0 out of 5 stars New brush sweeps clean, 4 Oct 2013
Fascinating story of how New tactics overcome a seemingly impossible objective.
..recommended for special forces fans and as a study for students of world war 2.
Again maps on kindle do not work. In fairness even having to turn back pages in book form would be irritating and so I think that a fold out map at back pages, as per New Vanguard aircraft series by osprey , would be a better option.
Love this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just like master and commander, 28 Sep 2013

I really enjoyed this raid book. I found the story very interesting and feel it would make a good film! Pirate stories are popular due to the recent movies but this is the real story and is just as good as the fantasy versions.
Raid series is excellent giving a great variety of I interesting stories ranging over the centuries and this book is yet another triumph.
This book is particularly well illustrated especially the colour plates that are specially commissioned for the book.
One criticism I have of the kindle versions are the maps. While I realise that it is difficult to show two page maps on a kindle but really they do not work due to the size needed and so if you want the maps buy full size paper versions of the books.
Overall I would recommend this book for anyone interested in military history and like variety.

4.0 out of 5 stars Korean war from a british perspective, 23 Sep 2013

Interesting book from a british perspective . Always liked Hastings style of writing and this book no different. It was good to refresh my understanding of the chronology of the conflict but if you want to know about details of every battle including g the Gloucester then you may wish to source a more detailed book.
Hastings best book is still Bomber Command, it gets five stars!

4.0 out of 5 stars Too long forgotten heroes, 24 July 2013

The story of the attic convoys is a story of the allies coming together to win the war. We tend to think of the convoys as being a british effort but this book shows how it was the combined efforts of all the allies, some of whom had been enemies just years before, in defeating the greater evil.
Details are given of loses on all the convoys ,including the famous, or infamous, PQ17.
The stories and accounts of survivors are perhaps the best parts with the irritating spelling and type errors being the worst part, for example; He 111s are referred to as He i11s and u boats being called 'll-235 instead of U-235.
That aside I would recommend this for people wishing to find out more about the artic convoys.
