5.0 out of 5 stars At last a Book for Mountain bikers!, 15 Nov. 2012
This review is from: Wales Mountain Biking (Paperback)
Bought this book on a whim as planned to visit Wales and take my bike along.

What can I say but just fab, screnery you just wouldn't see any other way, trails and tracks to challenge all.

If your a trail centre or fire track rider this might not be for you (the give away is in the title "Mountain Bike"), this is the propper stuff, be prepared for mud and typical British weather and you'll love the trails, I have ridden 9 of these trails and fully intend to complete the book.

Detail descriptions pictures and OS extracted maps, but worth taking an OS map or GPS (I take both) to confirm your route.

I repeat these are not routes to take your kids or grandmother on, but real Mountain Biking!

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Last Templar [DVD] (DVD)
After seeing 5 x 5 star reviews for this film I thought it worth a punt, especially with a real lack of decent films connected to crusade and or templar history.
How wrong I could be! I think the 5 reviews on the site must have been by the 5 people that were in the film. This is absolutely rubbish, complete drivel.
The acting is awful (i've seen better nativity plays) and the plotline is total tosh and utterly predictable. The whole point of the film has absolutely nothing to do with 'the last templar' or 'templars' or even 'indiana jones style escapades' but is just a totally drivel driven soap opera style love story with the two main characters.
In a connected rant, I wish a particular nation on this planet would stop producing rubbish like this that devalues the very real history that they have absolutely no connection with whatsoever. I can only think that a lack of real history/culture drives these deluded people into connecting themselves with templars and so on through ridiculous masonic organisations and at the other end of the scale, terrible films such as this. Please Go AWAY!
If you like to watch soap operas where the whole point of 6 weeks of viewing is that the two people you want to be together finally do - then this is for you!
If however you want a great film connected to crusades/templars/archeaology/ then this is best avoided!
