4.0 out of 5 stars Great if you like Horiyoshi III work., 6 April 2009
If you love the work of Horiyoshi III then i can advise you to purchase this book as it contains some fine examples of the man's work.

I do have a problem with this book though and that is the photography looks a little dull and has a slight blur to it which is a shame and another thing that isn't this book's problem is that i think if you're after ideas for japanese tattoo's then i will recommend to you Tattoo in Japan Traditional and Modern Styles as it is a better book all round on the subject matter, Bushido Legacies of the Japanese Tattoo is more wallet frindly though and is still a good book.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best Japanese Tattoo books on Amazon, 9 Feb 2009
Ok it maybe expensive you're thinking but this book is fantastic and worth every penny , the photography is crisp and clear and every page is printed on lovely high gloss paper .

The book has a great mix of modern and traditional style tattoos from some of Japans most talented artist including Horiyoshi III , Horiyasu and Ryoki .

If you love Japanese body suits , looking for inspiration for your own next tattoo or hell just like owning great looking books then i can say this books for you as i very much doubt it will disappoint .

Amazon or the publisher edition-reuss should have this book on here with the Look Inside feature .

Try the demo if you are on xlive as the game aint that bad and dont forget its a rts on console so it will never be as good as its pc brother , but lots of work has been done by EA to try and get rts games working with a joypad only .

5.0 out of 5 stars Not the run of the mill piece of Animation or Anime ., 19 Jan 2008
I could not recommend this anymore to a fan of Animation be it western or Japanese anime as this is a work of art and hats off to Michael Arias and all the others that pulled this off also check out the Manga that it's based on also called TEKKONKINKREET that is written and drawn by Taiyo Matsumoto ( amazon sell the re-released version as it happens )and you will see just where the odd style artwork came from.
