A rivetting novel about a Post Europe Britain. Taken out by a new direct speaking Prime Minister, everything seems to be ok until the sinister European Minister of Trade decides to interven in matters for his own ends. The ensuing battle between a direct dealing prime minister and a spin master eurocrat is fascinating.
There is also a very clever sub plot involving a businessman seriously affected by the EU decision, and his problems are exacerbated by the devious workings of a disgruntled former employee.
A very easy and fast read which provokes a lot of thought about the main subject
