5.0 out of 5 stars A very good but different way of looking at Anne Frank's life, 2 Aug. 2006
I thought that this was a v. original and creative way of looking at Anne Frank's life. It was well set out and was always interesting.

Basically, it is pictures of Anne Frank and things to do with her. It was very good.

He isn't expecting very much, but he becomes friends with the children, Tom and Storme. Then the Mum gets ill. Will George be able to stay?

4.0 out of 5 stars Dustbin Baby, 29 July 2006
This review is from: Dustbin Baby (Paperback)
I really enjoyed this book. I think that it is one of Jacqueline Wilson's best books.

It is about a girl called April who was found in a dustbin when she was a baby. It tells her life story and it is very sad, especially when it gets to what happened to her parents, her Mum especially. A must-read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting read, 29 July 2006
This book was interesting once it got going, at the beginning I didn't enjoy it. It had lots of historical facts about WW2 in it and was an interesting idea for a book because in most WW2 books, the brothers and Dads are fighting in the war, but in this book, Josie's brother is a Consciencious Objector and therefore not fighting.

The book is about a girl called Josie who goes to stay with her Aunty Grace and cousin Edith whilst her Mother is visiting her Grandmother, who has broken her hip in the blackout. Soon Josie is joining in with the local children. But is what they are doing right or not?

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm sad this is the last one!, 27 July 2006
This review is from: Megan 3 (Paperback)
I loved this book. It was something rare, in the fact that it frustrated me. In more than one part, I wanted to reach inside the book and help and tell all the characters what was really going on.

This book is about a girl called Megan who has a toddler called Jack. Her Mum starts getting strange phone calls. Then her Mum suddenly has a boyfriend and the family's life is changed. But is George all that he first seems?

4.0 out of 5 stars I would probably give this 3 1/2 stars, really, 23 July 2006
This review is from: Man Of The House [DVD] (DVD)
This film was quite good, but it wasn't as funny a I thought it was going to be.

It is about some cheerleaders who witness a murder take place. The police are worried that the murderer will try and kill them because they saw it happen, so they send someone (played by Tommy Lee Jones) to protect them. They aren't allowed out of the house and they aren't allowed to do certain things.

It is about their life in the house and what goes on. There are some funny moments. It has a very good ending.
