5.0 out of 5 stars Shoe rack, 15 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
We wanted a shoe rack for our holiday let property. They fitted in well as far as looks and colour. We have now had 2 of these for about 4 years. They were easy to set up and certainly stood the test of time. They still look good and are very useful. They hve made quite a difference to the amount of dirt taken into the property as most people now leave their outdoor shoes in the hall by the front door and also damage to our wooden floor in form of scratches has been much reduced.

Overall we are very satisfied

We have always had HP printers for the past 25 years and been very happy with them. When our last printer eventually ran out of ink both for the main reservoirs and the printer heads, the cost of replacing all the cartridges was nearly as much as a new printer. Also we had to manually change in order to print both side because when we upgraded our computers, the new operating system did not have drives for automatic duplex.

We have had a Canon PIXMA iP90 for a few years to enable us to print when on the move and have been very satisfied with it s performance so we decided to go for a Canon main printer.

We are very impressed with the facilities available on thisMG7150 and still have not been able to use all of them. We keep it switched on all the time and have not problems with that. Printing is of good quality although we have not tried printing photos yet. The only quibble we have is that the paper tray does not hold very much paper.

Setting up the printer was fiddly, the instruction sheet was in the form of diagrams with no written info. We found some of them not very clear and required a bit of trial and error. Basically it took quite a bit longer to set up that our previous printers - probably because it was more complicated. There is a written quick guide to using the printer but if you require a more detailed one you have to use the disc that comes with it. This is not quite so easy to access a particular area as a written booklet.

For the facilities and printing we consider it is certainly worth the 5 stars, but would only give it 4 for the set up.

The lid catch on our 20 year-old Morphy Richards kettle had started to fail and also had a slight leak. The closest model to our old kettle was the Swann. Of course there are slight differences with our old one, but this is expected. The measuring guide is very clear no matter whether you are left or right handed for filling which is very useful. It boils quickly. A blue light within the kettle indicates when it is switched on and extinguishes when it has boiled which is a bit gimmicky. The noise is also a little louder that our previous kettle but certainly not a problem noise.
Overall we are very pleased with the new kettle.

Up to its usual high standard. An essential publication for all who sail offshore, particularly when sailing in French waters where it is a legal requirement to have an up-to-date publication on board. Reeds Nautical Almanac 2011: Including Digital Access

Canon CanoScan LiDE 210 Scanner Extremely easy to set up. Very impressed at its capabilities, particularly in copying whole documents into PDF format rather than into separate individual pages like some other copiers.

So far this has certainly lived up to expectations. I have had difficulty getting above 30 psi in my Landrover with another cheaper model. It is worth the extra money for some thing that works.

The main disadvantage is that it has to clip onto a 12v battery terminals rather than use the cigarette lighter fitting because of the current drain. The other minor disadvantage is that the switch is on the electric motor and the battery leads are not long enough to be able to switch off without moving when inflating a rear wheel, however the pressure line is certainly long enough to reach the wheel of a medium length trailer whilst the trailer is attached.
