I have admired his acting and diverse characters for years and took this opportunity to read this book. I was not disappointed. It moves along with wit and charm throughout and gives an insight into a man that "fame" appears not to have changed, which I was pleased to note.
I would recommend this to all who admire his work.

I am a racing fan and have been for 40+ years. This book combines technical detail with a very personal insight into a championship winning year. It also shows how a year is a very long time in F1. The year started on a low but ended like a true fairy tale finish.
Great read, I enjoyed every page.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic read, 16 April 2014

I really enjoyed the detail and insight into the characters. A complex story told in a very interesting manner, sometimes it was hard to keep track of the detail, but we'll worth the effort.
For those who like these type of novel they will enjoy.

A very enjoyable read with lots of background stories about the drivers and circuits. I started following F1 in 1971 and remember many of the drivers and details described. The style of writing is both factual and engaging and is very easy to follow.

A great insight into a character of motor racing, who was prepared to be different!
I remember watching him race. They broke the mould.
