4.0 out of 5 stars Hidden Gem, 31 May 2010
This review is from: Identity (Audio CD)
One of Britain's hidden gems, this is a superb album that contains some excellent songs. The driving guitars play masterful solos and drive the Gothic-rock numbers along with a background of soaring keyboards. The powerful vocals perfectly compliment the songs which remain firmly on my play-list despite the march of time. The band have struggled to maintain a consistent line-up, changing vocalist frequently, but this album is a testament to what they can achieve.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive Debut, 31 May 2010
This review is from: Tear The World Down (Audio CD)
A superb album, with towering goth-rock numbers and delightful ballads. Carly has an impressive voice which empowers the songs and compliments the driving guitars on the rock songs. The softer ballads are beautiful songs which tug the heart. This was a somewhat tentative purchase, but I discovered an excellent album which has found universal acclaim amongst my friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Album, 20 Mar 2009
Superb album, great songs, great music - Scandinavia Death Metal at its very best - very melodic metal. My first Amon Amarth album, but my friends who have heard it all liked it as well - and they were not all metal heads. If you like Slayer, Trivium and other traditional death metal, I'd listen to a few tracks on You Tube first as this is a bit symphonic - but my new favorite band!
