Fun Time Shape Sorter Ball
Fun Time Shape Sorter Ball
Price: £5.98

5.0 out of 5 stars For the price., 12 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A great toy that is a little budget in production, saying that it is being well used and abused by my little one. Also this is much better than the more expensive shape sorters as once you tip the shapes out and reassemble the ball your little one cant cheat by taking it apart to put the shapes back in.

Its a fun toy that my little one loves watching the water fall out off, spinning in the bath and giving his ducks rides in.

BabyDan Multidan Extending Wooden Safety Gate (Beech, Old Version)
BabyDan Multidan Extending Wooden Safety Gate (Beech, Old Version)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but needs better catch, 12 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Fitting.. tis simple if it was explained.
To install take your time and simply stick the templates to the wall level (use spirit level to dray a vertical line as a guide)
If skirting board in the way hold template in place and cut with razor on outside of edge of skirting.
Drill holes where indicated.
Remove templates, and screw in attachments.
Next assemble gate to correct width and screw in fittings loosely.
Hook hinge and upper hinge on and adjust as required, keep adjusting hinged side until level.
Adjust catch side as required.
Tighten all bolts and screws on gate.
Attach safety cover on top of gate hinge.

Quality is good but the child catch looks a little limited in its lifespan but only time will tell.

Catch has only one button to open so once your toddler gets to the height of the gate they will get it open!
Would have been 5 out of 5 if the 'child proof' catch was better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 11 Sep 2013
This review is from: Yawn (Board book)
Loved the book myself and the little one loves it even more. It's become a bedtime tradition and I know the story off by hart and the little one has learned to turn pages by the thick card pages and the yawn in a hole so the yawn passes from page to page. Shout out fun :)

A great book of fiction, best use is as fuel for a wood burner or to use as emergency toilet paper.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!!!, 28 July 2010
Excellent DVD and Software, with this product I scored 50 out of 50 on the Bike test. All you need to do is read the Highway code (on the DVD in PDF format I read it on the train to work) and then study the questions and do mock tests on your computer. Its almost 100% the same as the real test. Use this spend a good few evenings going over the questions and do a mock test or two each night and your be well prepared.

4.0 out of 5 stars How it should be done?, 29 Jun 2009
An interesting book (manual) on how the US Military hoped to tackle insurgents. You wont find this an interesting read as in a history book on the fall of Berlin for example, but it is interesting as a book on current times and theories on modern warfare.
Anyone interested in military operations and or history will get a lot from this book.

More of how it should be done rather than how it was done. Some interesting points raised in the first few chapters was the knowledge of the higher loss of friendlies is inevitable at the beginning of a COIN while networks of informers and befriending the populous is established. But as most modem wars are fought by politicians who want next to zero friendly casualties this can be counter productive to a COIN as enemies are made from a friendly populous due to inappropriate use of firepower.

Maybe a few in command and in politics need this book slap in their face?

The Essential Guide to Flash Cs4 Air Development (Friends of Ed Adobe Learning Library)
The Essential Guide to Flash Cs4 Air Development (Friends of Ed Adobe Learning Library)

Edition: Paperback
Price: £26.89

1.0 out of 5 stars Flawed, 3 Jun 2009
Nice idea to write a book on Air and Flash but very badly written. The examples are not explained very well if at all in places and the book assumes you have a very high level of Flash and ActionScript knowledge.

Many of the comments on Air commands are just reworded from the Adobe help files and not expanded on or demonstrated at all.

The structure of the book is very bad, jumping all over and repeating itself again and again.

If your an expert in ActionScript 3 and already used Air you might get something from this book (doubt it as you would already know it), else avoid!

2.0 out of 5 stars No very safe for a cash box, 1 Jun 2006
Very easy to break into this box, you can open the box very easy as the box uses a exposed pin hinge. So can be easily opened in a couple of minutes.

Build quality if very tough but sadly the box rusts very easy.

Only buy if you want a firm box to store petty cash in a desk, or to lock within a safe.

1.0 out of 5 stars Its a bad investment!, 3 April 2004
Do not buy this product, it is just too unstable. After spending 3 days installing, uninstalling and then reinstalling. Using the registry editor (in a vain attempt to fix the too many to count problems) I finally gave up and returned this product.
Its a shame I used to be a big fan of Nortons but do not buy this, it is to put it bluntly... rubbish.
