Oh dear, what's happened to BSC? I'm not sure how people can think this is 5 stars and up there with their first two albums - something has been lost or missing with this 4th release. Its not a bad album, just very average. The guitaring is decent but the melodies have gone and there's no real hook to any song. It's just a bit....boring. I just hope this grows with time but I'm not sure. A far cry from Folklore and Superstition :(

Like a few have said, I really don't get the flack this game got. A few new tweaks (most are welcome) and it still feels like a Dead Space game to me. Fits perfectly alongside 1 & 2. They had to evolve it a bit otherwise they'd be accused of releasing the same game again. I'm loving it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Softer Saliva - but still great, 26 Jan 2007
Wasn't overly impressed on my first listen but this album is a real grower. It's slightly watered down compared to their previous efforts (eg; no swearing this time) and has several slower songs but that also works in their favour as the band 'matures'. Every track is decent, although "Twister" is a bit of mis-fire (the opening riff sounds like a Foo Fighter song before it goes a bit too "teen-rock" for my liking). The outstanding tracks are "Ladies and Gentlemen", "Never Gonna Change", "King of the Stereo", "One More Chance" and "Black Sheep".

It's just a shame there are only 10 tracks as the album is over too soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing album, amazing live!!!, 18 Sep 2004

Just got back from ULU at London Uni where i have witnessed the awesome Alter Bridge. Man these guys can play! I was always a bit gutted when Creed split but my faith has been renewed by Alter Bridge. Mark Tremonti is a guitar god - but i always knew that and Myles Kennedy's singing is even better live, he can really hit those high notes.
Great band, great gig 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars They're back! Ready to ROCK!........and ballad a bit too, 23 Sep 2002
This review is from: Bounce (Audio CD)
Eventhough i though 'Crush' was good (if not great) 'Bounce' kicks it's arse.
The rock tracks REALLY rock this time and in a strange way so do some of the ballads.
'Undivided', 'Hook Me Up' and 'Bounce' contain some of Jovi's heaviest riffs from Richie. I've only listened to it a couple of times but i know it's a grower.
I think 'The Distance' is my favourite right now, a great track with some excellent power chords from Mr Sambora....really get's your neck muscles working.
Jon's voice (and Richie's) sounds great on 'Right Side of Wrong', plus an emotional solo too.
'All about lovin' You' is a good ballad that sounds very similar to 'Never Say Goodbye'...but thats a good thing.
Another quality album from a quality band!
