Bought July 2014. It had an effect within few hours ie: clears you out. Started wearing 24/7 and within two days the night sweats had gone completely. It reduced the daytime heat waves for a couple of months, then around 3 months from wear they were eliminated.

Now March 2015 the waves are returning a few times a day, though very short and very mild - I sense them, not much to show on skin. I assume its as I go further into menopause that I am experiencing these however forgot to put on magnet a couple of weeks back and boy did I know it - whoosh, 3 lasting fires 20 mins apart had to disrobe fast.

GP has zero suggestions to combat this. I am so not taking it off except for shower! Have bought a replacement button too and will try that now.

2.0 out of 5 stars Has a story but has many errors, 20 Jan. 2015

This review is from: Wonderstruck (Kindle Edition)
Beware so NOT Joey W. Hill, not that calibre of writing or story content. Google says: Stay tuned for Joey’s first ebook, Wonderstruck. This is not erotica it's a teen romance and feels as though written by a teen - "I'm done here," stated several times.
Consists of 27 pages only and has so many typos and errors it's irritating that a decent proof read hasn't been made, such as "Four the most part...James was a good guy."

However, the story is that Meghan with an 'h' gets wonderstruck with love for James after meeting in a bar. After six months he is her best friend and lover and appears to be 'the one' until she makes a surprising discovery that results in an unhappy ending for one of them.

For the same purchase price I recommend reading Riley Murphy's The Present Deal.

Like books by this author. They are different and really, really well written - a rarity. On a par with Sarah Morgan and Natalie Anderson.

What clever love stories. One from the past intertwined with the one in the present. Best of all a strong heroine (Tash) who doesn't take crap and gives back as good as she gets to Aiden. Really enjoyed the language, the glass blowing scene and the twist at the end. Would have liked a little more from the modern love scene (Tash calls her half-night stand) as it moved quickly from passionate kissing to the morning after. Excellent read though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thoroughly enjoyed this read, 29 July 2014

Thoroughly enjoyed this read. Not going to trawl through the storyline, the blurb has it. As well as their marriage the story has it's ups and downs, so it's not an easy read but is an entertaining one. Full of the frustrations of miscommunication and misunderstanding - just like a typical marriage in fact! Enjoy.

Have read others by same author and just downloaded the latest. Can't wait.

5.0 out of 5 stars well written, 28 May 2014

This is an M & B book - so a romance. Has modern twist - so steamy too. If that isn't what you want then please don't download and don't review. What you don't often get with books like this is a decent story line and well written.

One sassy Serena and a moody Finn make for excellent dialogue and steamy scenes. They each take the typical journey of self-discovery but the book doesn't disappoint. I look forward to more from this author.

Try also The Price of Success by Maya Blake.

1st published 1998. An easy light romantic read. Reasonable story line. Would have given it more stars if there has not been so many typos and even one section cut out that is pasted further on in the book!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good romance not Anderson's best, 6 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Totally agree with Kate (reviewer). I was also totally lost between book 1 and book 2 and actually thought that as the start of book two mentioned '5 years later' that it was a follow on, not an alternative concept between two lovers a la Sliding Doors.

No idea why others have rated this book 5 stars. In the first book Natalie Anderson is at her best - the maturing of the lovers is her forte together with scorching kiss scenes - I would rate it a 4.

Its the 2nd book for me that let's the level down. I found the characters less believable, Liam in particular a bit weak and the premise of why they were not together still, plain odd: Victoria says a definite No to marrying Oliver and embarks on a hot relationship with Liam - then when they split up Liam assumes she returns to Oliver - why?

There's a taster of another book at the end of both of these - No idea what it's called or if written by same author. Also odd.

Try Natalie Anderson's Blame it on the Bikini or the older Melt.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another entertaining book from Aimee Carson, 20 Aug. 2013

How strange? Did the 1 star reviewer and I read the same book? I really liked it!

Blake Bennington is thinking of dating his Assistant when he is side-swiped by Jax on the court-house steps. They banter about it being a case of hit-and-run and Jax comments that he has a lot of rules and to contact her when he wants to break one! In essence this is the crux of their characters throughout the book with the very formal non-law breaker Blake ending up representing fast and free Jax in court : Jax paying him by sister-sitting at his house and their agreement/contract specifically states a non-kissing clause! Will he break it now that its against the law?

The banter between the two characters is lively and witty, she nick-names him "suit" and questions his underwear choice - you're definitely a briefs man, you like everything....contained. The passion is hot - after all they are breaking the law (their contract) and maybe more!

The characters are far more complex than this little review can suggest, so making a challenging romantic read. I pre-ordered the book as I really like Aimee Carson. Her books do not disappoint and IMO are up there with Natalie Anderson, Sarah Morgan, Catlin Crews and Kelly Hunter. Enjoy.

You don't have to know the inside outs of Baseball to recognise a hot read when you get one, let alone three for just 49p.
The books interlink character-wise and follow on too. The best is the final one, not just because it flits from the States to UK or has characters from each pond or is about footie/soccer. Its just better written and feisty.

Usually I finish a book well within the day - I am thoroughly enjoying reading on into day 3!
