Offered by ARC UK
Price: £49.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Value for money, well worth considering, 27 Aug. 2014
Whilst the interface takes a bit of getting used to - the circular button in the middle isn't directional, and my instinct is to use it to navigate the menu, and the other buttons fulfil a variety of functions depending on the context - as a music player with a huge amount of storage for the price it's a good choice. The video / ebook functions are a bit redundant given the screen size but that doesn't detract from the device. Overall it's definitely good value.

2.0 out of 5 stars nice but didn't last, 5 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
While this kettle was fine for eight months eventually the spring in the 'whistle' gave up the ghost and its now quite difficult to use safely. Not really good enough for anything like normal use, we aren't boiling it all day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Louder than everything else, 18 Sept. 2003
This review is from: White Line Fever (Hardcover)
Lemmy is the kind of rock star that makes you proud to be British. He doesn't take himself too seriously, he just wants to play in a rock and roll band and get laid after the show. In this book (called an autobiography, but it reads like an interview) he recounts his long career in rock, powered by amphetamines and bourbon, and it is a risible ride indeed. Stories of drink-and-drug-induced foolishness abound, along with interesting pen sketches of his fellow band members over the years. I laughed out loud a lot whilst reading this book, you know you're always going to have a good time, all the time, with Motorhead.
It's the life that you're glad somebody led, just to prove that it can be done.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff from the cosmos, 15 Nov. 2002
This review is from: Wrinkles in Time (Hardcover)
In April 1992 a team of American scientists announced that they had found the "seeds" from which our present-day universe was created. This book is the story of that discovery, giving the reader a gentle introduction into cosmology and the theories behind creation. The author, George Smoot, was the chief investigator in this experiment and his writing style involves the reader in his highs and lows as he reaches his goal.
The book tells of the eventual launch and results from NASA’s Cosmic Background Explorer (COBE) satellite which were front-page news aruond the world. Even if you're not a physics buff, this is an adventure story worth reading.
