5.0 out of 5 stars Had no idea about Congo and boy did this book teach me!, 3 Jan. 2011
This book offers a fluid and in-depth insight into the past, present and likely near future of Congo! I had no idea about the history of the country and have a Congolese friend who often told me snippets and so I wanted to find out more. The author uses her personal experience to really engage you into the misery that the country has suffered and the sad reality for Congolese people. The book reads easily - there may be the odd word to find in the dictionary, but it is pretty much suitable for readers of all abilities who want to know more about this African country. A great read.
