I don't straighten my hair everyday and it isn't very long but when my old, ancient straighteners packed up I bought these. After a couple of weeks the red plating started coming off. Then the switch on the straighteners to turn it off and on didn't really work so they were constantly on when they were plugged in. Next, the actual heat plating on the straighteners started coming off. After three or four months of occasional use the Toni&Guy straighteners have completely broke.
If you are somebody that regularly straightens their hair - don't buy these. Complete waste of your money.
It may just have been mine, a faulty product, but I won't ever take that chance again.
