4.0 out of 5 stars Chester goes solo., 28 Nov. 2009
This review is from: Crawl Back In (MP3 Download)
Was not long ago that i noticed LInkin Park were really chomping at the Metal bit, but here the lead singer Chester Bennington has decided that going it alone was the way forward and the outcome is light Metal with the sound of his former/other band Linkin park.

Dead by sunrise album also available "Out of Ashes" featuring this single.

Light-weight metal, but worth having in the motor.

3/5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Strange mix.., 28 Nov. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
No not really.

Just catchy, foot tapping, keep ya humming all day kinda stuff.

Foster and Allen have stood the test of time,30+ years and from young to old love their gaelic musical ways.

5/5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Silkey smooth...., 28 Nov. 2009
This review is from: Send One Your Love (Audio CD)
And very funky is the order of the day here.

Boney really is on top form here hitting some vey sweet notes in the pursuit of perfection and mostly getting it right!

The odd vocal inclusion is the only slight drawback on a otherwise first class album.

All in all a top notch endeavour.

5.0 out of 5 stars Early 70s London...., 13 Oct. 2009
This review is from: Villain [DVD] (DVD)
Never looked so good as it does in Villain with some seedy locations used that could only be 1970s London.

The movie is enjoyable right from the off with Dakin laying in wait for grass Benny Thompson to arrive home.
This sets the tone for the rest of the film with lots of well staged violent scenes that were rare to see in that time leading to a climactic and well judged ending.

All of Richard Burtons films were memorable but Villain to my mind is easily his best, showing that playing an East end hard man with his own patch in London came naturally to older but menacing looking Burton.

The DVD release is baron of any extras and thats a real shame, but the picture quality looks real good.
