3.0 out of 5 stars Kind of useful, 1 Jun. 2012

I had a problem with the nozzle being broken at the start but phoned the customer service and they sent another one for me within two days and were really helpful. I had to get this to present a portfolio and I thought that the 5minutes of re positioning time would be useful as I am quite pedantic. I think the issue was that when you stick thin paper down because the glue is yellow you can see large yellow dots through it. But I think it did its job when sticking thicker sheets together.

3.0 out of 5 stars Quite Comprehensive, 2 Feb. 2012

This book does explain the foundations of Classical Architecture. I did find it quite chatty but that meant that it did jump around a bit, sometimes making it hard to follow. The plethora of images meant that you also have to flip a lot as well. There is a glossary that helps you to understand some of the jargon. If you persevere through all teh flipping of pages it is abundant with key information.

I love all of Pratchett's books, even if you aren't into his discworld books you can get into this one as it is a seperate series. He expresses some heavy topics but delivers them with light humour and a bunch of cultural clashes between the islanders and 'trousermen'. Whatever the age you can access this book at several levels, so give it a go.
