Solo
Solo
by Jill Mansell
Edition: Paperback
Price: £8.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Outside the box, 30 Mar. 2012
This review is from: Solo (Paperback)
This particular novel moves away from the typical woman desperately seeking man style that often features in romantic novels, including some of Mansell's other titles.
It was refreshing to have a female protagonist often disinterested in the love interest. This enabled other elements of the storyline and the character develop strongly.
An enjoyable read and one to re-read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Charming read, 1 Jun. 2010
This review is from: Jude (Mass Market Paperback)
The plot and characters in this book were well conceived. I first read the novel in my teens and we was glued to the pages, I recently decided to re-read and found it equally as exciting. Definitely worth the read, with initial twists you wouldn't have predicted. A lighter but enjoyable genre of crime fiction.

Mercy - Live In Durban
Mercy - Live In Durban
Price: £8.69

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes!, 7 April 2010
Whenever I listened to Joyous Celebration, I favoured the songs led by Mthunzi the most. This double disc edition of his live Durban concert is a great mix of the traditional south african music style and contempary gospel. I loved about every track on this record and his miny sermon piece on Mercy. Definately a worthwhile buy. Great music

5.0 out of 5 stars Improvement galour, 5 Jan. 2010
This review is from: Into Paradise (Audio CD)
It is evident in the quality of this CD that All Angels are more confident vocally. Although I enjoyed their debut album, there was something about it that annoyed me after a while. With this one, I can listen to it frequently with the same level of enjoyment as when I first purchased it. A great buy, with a variety of song genres in the mix

This book is a great devotion for everyone, particularly the age group between teens and adult. An age that is often missed out. With poignant lessons backed up by up to date stories of uni life and issues facing a younger generation. The messages shine through strongly to the audience. Highly recommended

This review is from: David Beckham: My Side (Hardcover)
This book is well written and provides a great insight into headlines and matches that most people will still remember but from the perspective of the player right at the forefront of the action. It is an enjoyable and educative read. Recommended
