Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Chasing Tales (Audio CD)
Having been a fan of steve gibbons for a long time i was really looking forward to listening to this cd.what a complete waste of time and money.Hang on to your memories of steve gibbons as a real rocker with such classics as tulane, eddie vortex and gave his life to rock n roll, stear well clear of this cd it will ruin all those memories,a truly awful cd.

4.0 out of 5 stars The return of Widowmaker, 20 Oct. 2002

Wonderful to hear these albums again from a criminally ignored
band. most of the tracks are from the bands 2 albums released in
76/77. The only complaint id have is the ommision of a couple of
tracks from the 77 album "To late to cry"-namely"What a way to fall"& "Mean what you say".Although its nice to hear some rare
live tracks. My own favourite tracks are "The hustler"& the wonderful "Leave the kids alone".
Next perhaps someone will release some material by the Steve Ellis band "Ellis".
