Crashed and Byrned: The Greatest Racing Driver You Never Saw
by Tommy Byrne
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book! The best probably, 1 Sep 2010
This is probably the best motor racing autobiography i've read. It seems this man was destined for great things, and even had Senna worried! Really couldn't put it down. Great.

Andy Priaulx: The Autobiography - Triple World Champion
by Andy Priaulx
Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book. Great man. Great driver!, 1 Sep 2010
I've always been an A.Priaulx fan after watching WTCC, and i'd heard rumours of his dedication i.e. selling up his house to fund his career but this book really made me realise how determined he was to make it. He knew he had the talent to make it, and he did. A really great book for motorsport fans! Thanks Andy for the insight!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great book Perry!, 1 Sep 2010
Really enjoyed this book. Great to see someone struggle to get to the top of the game, even if the money etc didn't follow. I'm happy Perry McCarthy managed to create a career racing. Good for him, a great book!

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok, at a push., 1 Sep 2010
Being a BIG Lewis fan I couldn't wait to read this book, but i was quite disapointed. It's very - i went to a race and won, and it was 'cool' then i prepared for the next race. I guess untill he is retired we wont see/hear enough truth of what really went on in his racing days as he is too groomed by the PR and obviously can't offend anyone for sponsor reasons. Still though, a great book of success!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great book and insight to DC, 1 Sep 2010
This is a great motor racing autobiography. Really enjoyed it. DC is a good character and this book delves into some of the highs and lows of his career whilst giving you an idea of what goes into being a racing driver, and what comes with it! A great buy!

2.0 out of 5 stars Ok if you are interested in circuit details, 1 Sep 2010
This review is from: Working The Wheel (Paperback)
As a club racer i expected this book to be of great interest, especially as i visit tracks around europe. However i found this quite boring, i think an autobiography would have been more interesting as i like Brundle as a character on the F1 grid walk. I found myself skipping to tracks that interested me and even then i wasn't gripped.
