4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and cheerful, 4 Sep 2012

Bought this just to have a little play with time lapse and long exposure on my 5D Mk II. Build quality is reasonable, controls are nothing fancy, but for the limited use I'll make of it, it's perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars ultimate ... until this whole package comes out on bluray, 6 Dec 2007

this package is certainly amazing value for money. "dangerous days" alone is a must-see for all fans...a 3 1/2 hour tour de force covering all aspects of the movie. the additional little goodies (a lenticular image, a few high-gloss postcard-sized sketches from sid mead, a "letter from ridley scott") are a bit gimmicky, but hey...

5.0 out of 5 stars best value for money, 15 Jan 2007
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
unbeatable price point for a branded, no-frills drive like this. if you've got no need for fancy stuff like U3 support or some (usually windows-only) proprietary encryption/password protection, and are purely after some reliable data transfer medium, this is without a doubt the best one you can get at this point.

5.0 out of 5 stars a mix of showcase and case studies...but it works, 18 April 2005
At first I was a bit skeptical about the unusual structure of the book, but after delving a bit deeper it works.
Rather than just making up some hypothetical design to demonstrate the relevant CSS rules, this book does the opposite: it starts with some excellent, finished designs (and I'm not simply saying this because one of my own works, "door to my garden", is among them) and proceeds to deconstruct them, explaining the overall structure and underlying basics as well as the refined tricks and techniques used.
An excellent resource for beginners who may still be skeptical about CSS, as it draws them in first with examples of what can be achieved, but seasoned stylers will enjoy the intriguing look into the different designers' philosophy, approach and detailed explanations of the more advanced parts of their stylesheets.
