E really does equal mc2, 27 Oct. 2009
Authors showed real passion for the subject and a genuine effort has been made to pass on this to the reader. I was worried that this would be an end to end collection of hypothetical algebra and I was pleasantly surprised as plenty of explanation is offered at a level that promotes inquisitive research.
This is certainly not the Mills and Boon of science and I'm thankful for that! It does have its head-scratching passages but soon unlocks those almost forgotten lessons of physics from my school days....in a sort of "Brain Training for Physics" kind of way.
I think it does help if the reader has an active interest in all things scientific and the book does lend itself to be re-read in chunks as you pace through the pages.
I hope this turns out to be one of a series of such dalliances into popular science.
