5.0 out of 5 stars O HOLY CELINE, 11 Dec. 2004
This review is from: These Are Special Times (Audio CD)
All I can say is....WHAT AN ALBUM, WHAT A VOICE!!!! The selection of songs on this album are absolutely perfect, and even more perfect for celine's voice. Her soft version of "O holy night" is fantastic, mellow and calm at first and then a powerful, strong ending with celine belting out "oh night divine". Also, "Ave maria" is normally sung by opera singers, but celine can NAIL THIS SONG! She is even better than an opera singer. There is also the jolly "god bless us everyone" with its christmassy feel. Buy this album, it is celine at her best at christmas, two of the best things in life, christmas, and celine!

5.0 out of 5 stars Christmas at its best, 11 Dec. 2004
I ordered this album and thought it was the best christmas album I have ever bought. The songs are all so christmassy and really put you in the christmas mood. It is a great collection of varied artists, so it suits everyone's style of music. Favourites of mine are the beautiful "silver bells", the pretender's version of "merry little christmas" which is delightful, and mariah carey's belting powerful version of "o holy night" that sounds like she has desended from heaven. Buy it and feel 100% christmassy.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great album to chill out to, 20 July 2004
This review is from: Sound Echo Location (Audio CD)
Usually I dont go for this type of music, but after hearing their single "falling", I was very intrigued to hear more, so I bought the album, and I LOVE IT! My favourite of all is the song that led me to the album "falling," it is a beautiful song that takes you away from here to another world, and seems to lay down how you feel when u are in love with someone.
Other great tracks are the dancy "sweet as honey" and the computery sound of "sound echo location". To sum up, a great album to wack on when chilling out after a hard day's work.

5.0 out of 5 stars TINA ROCKS!!!!!!!, 7 Jun. 2004
This review is from: Don't Ask (Audio CD)
This album is tina arena's powerful kick start that follows an amzing career of GRADE A albums. Since hearing the amazing chart topping hit CHAINS, I became a completely hooked fan of Tina Arena, and just went overboard since then, buying EVERYTHING she has ever done and keeping up to date with what is going on in her career. This album gives you a taster of what Tina arena is capable of vocally, especially with her powerful soaring voice on SHOW ME HEAVEN where she reaches notes that the gods can hear!!!! There is something for everyone on this album, slow songs such a s WASN'T IT GOOD that will bring a tear to you eye, to more chilled out songs such as MESSAGE and LOVE IS THE ANSWER, then of course SORRENTO MOON (I REMEMBER) will have you dancing around the room flamenco style! A great album worth buying, and like with all tina's albums, she gives you your money's worth and more....

5.0 out of 5 stars AN ALBUM WORTH YOUR MONEY, 27 May 2004
This review is from: A Woman & A Man (Audio CD)
This is no doubt belinda carlisle's BEST album. Her songs on this album are very musically and artistically mature and some of them are very deep and haunting (eg) REMEMBER SEPTEMBER. You will find yourself bopping along to the likes of IN TOO DEEP and the amazing CALIFORNIA, and reflecting on the touching, slow songs such as HE GOES ON, KNEEL AT YOUR FEET, and MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU.
To sum up, Belinda has a very unique husky voice, which conveys alot of emotion and the songs on this album do her the world of justice,
