5.0 out of 5 stars amazing book, 23 July 2013
Currently using this book to study for paces. Having bought a host of books for this exam I can honestly say this is by far and away the best of the bunch. Well written, up to date, easy to read and helping me make significant progress towards passing the final part of one of the toughest exams in British medicine. No aspiring medical registrar should be without this prior to their exam

5.0 out of 5 stars wow wow and double wow, 16 Jan. 2007
Verified Purchase(What is this?)

now did anyone see that scene and not feel a little chill go down their spine. i have grown up with bond, watching the re-runs every xmas. In my view brosnan was far and away the best bond - even if die another day was way too corny for my liking but i blame the awful direction.

but after having seen this at the cinema twice, i think after a few more bond films with this guy, he may just take the title as the best bond ever. i was a sceptic with this guy - didnt think he would cut it - too weedy looking, too blond, too stiff but im man enough to admit when im wrong. he has really done wonders as bond.

the action, the one liners:

that last hand nearly killed me.

shaken or stirred.......does it look like i give a damn?

these were my two favourites.

if you are a fan of bond this one is unmissable.

5.0 out of 5 stars guaranteed plab pass, 24 Dec. 2006
Having studied for the plab exam, and used many books, this is by far and away the best book i have read. very clear and concise, everything is explained well in a very easy to read and well laid out format. excellent colour photos illustrate this book which improves it far above and beyond other plab 2 books i have read.

also very useful for undergrad osces. if you want a substantial advantage before you step into the plab 2 exam, this book is a must read.

2.0 out of 5 stars sorely dissapointed, 24 Nov. 2004
Well all i have to say is oh dear oh dear. I was a huge fan of evanescence's first album and i have played it to death and the second i saw they were releasing a second album i bought it without even looking at the details. How dissapointed i was when i listened to it and realised that not only were most of the tracks just repeated from their first album but the music is set to the constant background of screaming fans. Now dont get me wrong i love unplugged versions but this is just irritating. The only redeeming feature which saved this album from no stars at all is the last song on the album which is new and amazing and the kind of calibre that i would expect from evanescence.
I mean come on evanescence you have taken so long to get a second album out you should bring out all new songs and keep it to the high standard that your fans have come to expect from your refreshingly original sound. Hope to hear more new and better stuff from you soon.
