5.0 out of 5 stars Sublime in places!, 31 July 2013

Pity about the one star review, not Tim's fault is it, album fully deserves 4 stars so have put five to compensate for one star man.. I was just like one of the other reviewers here who said he didn't fall for this album immediately. Possibly ahead of it's time or wrong frame of mind? Three years later fell in love with it. Immaculately produced with some real gems on here, a very honest album and needs to be played loud! Tim is one of the greatest performers of our time and very much underrated..

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Stunning, forget the numpty who gave 1 star, 9 Feb 2009
This review is from: Time To Pretend (Audio CD)
There are not many songs on the radio which stop me in my tracks and make me want to find out who it is. This is a killer of a song with brilliant arrangement and incredibly mature lyrics for such a young writer. If you've had a pants day at work, pop this on the car stereo and drive. The video on you tube is also cool and a bit trippy. If you love rock but with an eighties soundscape such as Gary newman you will think this is the bees knees. My 15 year old son loves it too, but my 45 year old sister hates it..... perfect! Just got the album which is good but the rest of the tracks cannot compare as this is just class.

5.0 out of 5 stars An antidote to road rage, 23 Oct 2001

This album is simply sublime. It was recommended by Amazon after my previous purchase of Lemon Jelly (another must have). If you loved Moon Safari by Air then this is for you, timeless and never fails to enlighten regardless of what mood you're in.
