The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest
by Stieg Larsson
Edition: Hardcover

4.0 out of 5 stars Confusing, 1 Oct. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The 300 hundred first pages are very confusing. The epilogue should be a prologue. As it would make sense to have a bit of swedish political history.
Nonetheless it is a perfect ending to a perfect character...

5.0 out of 5 stars Sniper one VS Black Hawk down - 1-0, 21 Sept. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I started my journey into war books some years ago. I read only one, Black hawk down and it has really shaken me at the time....
After some years i decided to restart the genre and bought this one. It did the same....you start the story and you live it so intensily that it is impossible to let it down. I am glad someone told the story of UK soldiers. There also are heros in Europe....
And when the book ends....you just look at the ceilling and listen to the silence......

The Girl Who Played With Fire (Millennium Trilogy)
The Girl Who Played With Fire (Millennium Trilogy)
by Stieg Larsson
Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars breath taking, 11 Sept. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The story starts slowly but with a lot of character. All the people in the first one are displayed and you start to fill in some blanks. As soon as the blanks are filled others appear. The net construction of the plot is delightfull. Do not by this one without the third book. You will regret it.

4.0 out of 5 stars what comes around goes around, 21 Aug. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: 11.22.63 (Paperback)
I should begin with the title "what goes around comes around". If you are used to horor story from King...well this one is not. A mix of history and sci-fi. A fast paced reading. and the inevitable answer of "what if ?". Also the alusion to other King's Books are well present making it a very intriguing and awsome reading.

Edition: Paperback
Price: £8.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Journalism or sensationalism, 21 Aug. 2012

This review is from: The Wicked Girls (Paperback)
A great review of how journalist can sometimes over see the truth in order to get a good story. Really makes you think at the end of it. Even thow the first 100 pages are slow...once it is starts...there is no turning back.
