Entertaining but not thrilling. If you like rap with a foreign touch to it or just a mix of world/African/Sudanese genres, this might just be your thing. For me it lacks a bit of explosion.

I have more than 3 favorite songs on this album, It's a classic in the electronic genre. Music that still stands! I've impressed and intrigued friends on more than one occasion with this revelation! The music makes you want to move!

Very nice and enjoyable compilation of dub songs. Even for someone like me -not being a real addict to the genre- this is a varied and fresh dub album.

Very energetic music, original. Hiphop with power. Listening to the first song of this album, you get the feeling it's time for you to start conquering the world!
I don't understand why I didn't discover this band sooner, turns out they disbanded in December 2012. Too bad because their music is really great! For those who know the Canadian artist K-os, Tumi and the Volume is in the same genre.

I'm happy to have discovered Apkass! I had never heard of him before but accidentally stumbled upon this album. I recommand this album to anyone who loves a mix of jazzy tunes and raplike storytelling. Apkass is not just your every day rapper, he's a poet, he has a particular way of bringing his lyrics and stories. The melodies accompanying his poetry have a very beautiful jazzy feel to it. He not only sounds inspired but is inspiring!

2.0 out of 5 stars Too much of the same, 13 Jun 2013

For me -not being a real dubconnaisseur-, this album was a bit too much of the same. Very long-lasting songs that are almost indistinguishable one from the other. Enjoyable nevertheless as background music on a long trip.
