4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money, 11 April 2007
We had this book recommended by the hotel we had booked at. It proved to be very accurate at describing the places and the food and atmosphere. The maps are excellent and very detailed indeed. if you are planning a trip to Venice and don't want a bad experience like some friends of ours had buy the book have a good read. if you are going at a busy time of year book ahead if your Italian is not very good like mine get your hotel to book for you before you arrive just like we did as it was Carnivale week.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sometimes more of the same is good, 15 Sept. 2006
This review is from: Ten Thousand Bars (Audio CD)
This album has a real feel of the Diesel and vanilla lyrically, what I love about the album is how relaxed Ezio sound. The result is much smoother and as ever the lyrics are fantastic "hotel motel" a prime example. Some might say they are a bit samey but the songs are well crafted and the as ever Booga plays that guitar like an angel. I recon the album is grower having heard them play tracks live and listened to the album a few times it is getting better and better

Mary is on top form with this album, her voice is fantastic. Her version of pull up to the bumper and you can leave your hat on are very good the rest of the album shows the full range of her talents. For anybody who likes Mary this is a must.
