5.0 out of 5 stars Twisted, politically charged and with a sense of humour., 4 Jun 2014
If you don't know the art Ron English shame on you! The book concentrates on his paintings, but does include a few of vinyl toys/sculptures and pencil drawings. A reflection on an artist's legacy in the this pop culture world of 15 mins of fame. Twisted, politically charged and with a sense of humour. What's not to like. My favourite book on Ron English by far.

5.0 out of 5 stars A book of Nu-Dimensions, 2 May 2013
Lavishly illustrated this book is pure nostalgia. A nudist classic that is an amusing piece of film history. Text is taken from Pamela Green's unpublished biography. Lots of photos and supporting emphera. A must have for fans of Harrison Marks and Pamela Green.

A rather sweet film. Some nice observations. Some funny moments. A little slight but it grows on you. Surprised at how much I enjoyed it. A lazy sunday afternoon feel good film.

3.0 out of 5 stars This book is Tonto!, 17 Nov 2011
This review is from: The Book of Skulls (Paperback)
When it comes to skull books this makes a nice companion to Skullface by Antoni Cadafalch. If Skullface is the Lone Ranger this book is Tonto. They are both worth having but if you only have money for one buy Skullface. Skullface I found more useful as a source/ideas book. Ideal illustrators and tattoo artists.

Pretty basic. Not that inspiring. Lots of clichés and not that well executed...bad clip art.
If you are looking for great art check out Skullface. Skullface

5.0 out of 5 stars Have they restored the nude scene?, 15 May 2010
I love this film. Definitely one of my top five. Have they restored Pamela Green's brief nude scene, which was shown at the premier and subsequently cut? It's about time they did.
Apparently it was was the first nude scene in a mainstream British feature. It's a real shame she has recently past away. Check her website for a detailed article on Peeping Tom.
