4.0 out of 5 stars Tricky to apply, 10 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I found this product difficult to apply, despite following the very clear instructions. Finally I have it applied, albeit with two or three very tiny bubbles. The future will show how hard-wearing it is.
Customer service is excellent, which is why I give it four stars rather than three.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does a decent job, but some issues, 8 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this ADSL router to replace a BT Home Hub 2 which had a habit of occasionally losing all LAN connections. The TP-LINK router does a reasonably good job, and seems to cope a bit better through walls than the HH2. However download speeds on my ADSL2+ connection stabilise at about 8% lower than with the HH2, and indeed I notice that the SNR margin is slightly lower with the TP-LINK. More seriously, this model of router does not support Apple AirPrint. TP-LINK say they are trying to fix this with a firmware upgrade, but that's not available at the time of writing.
Update: latest firmware upgrade fixes Apple Bonjour problems, and AirPrint now works, so now I have it in full-time service. Far more reliable than the HH2 - no more LAN and WAN dropouts.

TP-LINK TL-WPA281 300Mbps AV200 Wireless N Powerline Extender
TP-LINK TL-WPA281 300Mbps AV200 Wireless N Powerline Extender

5.0 out of 5 stars Relatively east to set up, good peformance, 21 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As documented setup needs a Windows machine. Documentation is pretty clear. Configure the extender with the same network name and wireless key as on your main network: choose the third option in configuring wireless security on the extender (assuming you are using WPA/WPA2). Then its matter of moments to position it and pair it to the source TP-WPA device.
I find it provides a powerful signal which serves more than one room.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job under Mountain Lion, 30 July 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
At first test, works as expected on Mountain Lion. Seems well made, and Neet clearly respond to customer problems reported here. Necessary of course to select the right output under System Preferences -> Sound, once the device is attached via the adapter.

3.0 out of 5 stars Unsuitable for Macbook Air - not necessarily!, 19 Nov. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this external ODD for a Macbook Air because it is advertised as portable and MAC OS-compatible, and I got the impression that it needed only one USB slot, unlike some other external ODDs. It turns out that it needs two slots, and the cable supplied requires those slots to be adjacent. But the only portable Mac device that needs an external ODD is a Macbook Air, which has two USB slots in total, on opposite sides of laptop. I would not want an ODD that occupied all available USB slots; and a USB extension cable would be needed, with no guarantee that it would work. So I'm returning the Samsung.
I've given it just one star, on the grounds that I view Samsung's publicity as misleading insofar as Mac OS X devices are concerned. However as a portable drive for a laptop where two adjacent USB slots can be allocated it might function perfectly well.
*** Belated correction *** It seems I got this wrong. It works with just one USB connection as long as the USB port is of sufficiently high power. Samsung would help themselves by documenting this. So I've changed the rating from one to three stars

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor formatting on Kindle device, 3 Jan. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It's all there, with clickable links to the sections on the first page. But, whereas on Kindle for PC there are breaks between the quatrains in each section, on the Kindle 3 (running 3.0.3) the quatrains all run together. This makes reading harder, and does not properly reflect the poet's intentions. (I'm struck that the two implementations *do* format differently.)

1.0 out of 5 stars Unreadable on Kindle, 3 Jan. 2011
This review is from: In Memoriam (Kindle Edition)
Judging by a downloaded sample, formatting is dreadful on the Kindle edition - multiple blank lines scattered between lines of the poem make it impossible to read.
