Could be better, 29 May 2012
I'd had enough of Norton slowing-down my PC so I tried McAfee. Opinions vary on these 2 suppliers. I would prefer that its user controls had the same flexibility as Norton and I'm not convinced it checks as thoroughly but it appears to be good enough. McAfee is now owned by Intel so future versions should get better. Be sure to manually delete previous versions off your PC before installing. Do not rely on the new software to do this automatically as you may experience conflicts or renewal requests from the older, installed anti-virus software. Also, don't auto renew or buy the in-box subscription extender. It's often cheaper to buy the complete kit off-the-shelf every year during promotions. I recommend you also consider using Malwarebytes which you can download free off their website. It's a good back-up checker and my company's IT dept uses it to clean infected PCs.

You cannot go wrong., 29 May 2012
Unless you have all the tracks on other CDs, you cannot go wrong buying this superb collection of all of MJ's hits from both the Jackson era and after he went solo. Ideal for those who like his music but want everything in one album e.g. for the car.

Good value, 29 May 2012
Great for both chill-out listening and as background music. Good selection of popular hits from the late 60s and the 70s. Good value off Amazon (<£7). It's worth also considering his Togetherness album which has a similarly good selection of popular tunes. My only issue with his recordings is that the second piano sometimes sounds muted

If you only bought 1 dictionary., 16 Dec 2011
If you could only buy 1 dictionary then this is probably the best buy. A U.S./Canada standard for students in high school and university. I wore the covers off this book during my school years and even though I now have the complete compact Oxford English Dictionary, 9 times out of 10 I will use the Webster's first. Easy to use and read. Excellent value and comes with a handy, loadable version for your PC. It's also worth noting that the Webster's web site allows a quick word look-up that provides the same definition as found in the actual dictionary for those occasions when it's not nearby.

The Gold Standard, 16 Dec 2011
No better atlas available anywhere. I have a personal preference for National Geographic's cartographic style which is easy to read and shows boundaries and main cities clearly. The fact that many news and academic organisations use their maps is testimony to that. A wealth of demographic information is included which may be of interest mostly to students, so the layman is not likely to find anything missing except possibly a loadable CD version for PC use. Great price off Amazon UK (£75) which beats buying directly from Nat'l Geographic itself and even U.S.-based web sites.

Ronnie Aldrich Togetherness, 16 Dec 2011
Delightful album and a great price off Amazon (<£10). Could otherwise be known as the Ronnie Aldrich Essentials. I was really surprised they made this vinyl album into a CD set with the exact same artwork and playlist. It was released abroad as 2 separate albums. A good mix of popular late 60s and 1970 hits. Definitely worth purchasing if you're familiar with his music.

High Trails, 1 Dec 2011
Third Berghaus I've purchased. This brand tends to be more popular among the over 35 crowd who prefer its longer drape and price compared to the more famous brands. Good looking and very light with the bonus of being able to zip-in a fleece for Winter wear. Velcro storm front closing is much better than snap buttons which can come off after several years use. Sufficient and useful pockets. Great price off Amazon - 40% off RRP using their Autumn promotion.

An old friend, 8 Oct 2011
Probably not for those not familiar with Kaempfert. But, if as a kid, like me, you grew up listening to this family favourite, then this will be a great find. Recording quality is superb. And the producers were thoughtful towards the sentimentalists out there: they've kept the same playlist order, a cheery Polydor CD middle piece (looks like an old 45)and that instantly recognizable and bright cover. Enjoy!
