5.0 out of 5 stars The Corrs are back!, 27 Nov. 2015
This review is from: White Light (Audio CD)
After 10 years, The Corrs are back and sound as good as ever!

I love this album, it has the classic Corrs sound, combining traditional Irish music with modern pop.

I can't wait to see the tour.

1.0 out of 5 stars DVD FREEZES, 20 Nov. 2015
The DVD freezes 13 minutes in, and several times later on. Many people seem to have the same problem.

Absolutely appalling that this could be allowed to happen. Serious quality control issues here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shania is Still The One, 6 May 2015
This is a must-have for any Shania fan. She sounds great after so long away from the stage, and this CD is a great accompaniment to the DVD/Blu-ray of the Vegas show.

The album has been very well produced - unlike her previous live releases where the band overwhelm her vocals, the mixing here is much more balanced and you can hear Shania's voice clearly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, 6 Nov. 2013

This review is from: Closer to the Truth (Audio CD)
This is one amazing album, there isn't a single song that I dislike. There are some incredible dance tracks like 'Take It Like A Man' and 'Red', yet also some beautiful ballads like 'Sirens'. The Deluxe Edition remixes of 'Woman's World' are pretty good too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great acoustic show from Bryan!, 5 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I had already purchased the highly-acclaimed 'Bare Bones' live CD release from 2010 and absolutely loved it - it really showed off Bryan's talent as a guitarist and vocalist thanks to the stripped-down arrangements. This new release brings the 'Bare Bones' experience to a whole new level. The new DVD immerses you into the warm, intimate setting of the Sydney Opera House, with another fully-acoustic show featuring many new songs (and hits such as 'When You're Gone' - one of my favourites) which were not included on the previous live CD. The DVD features basic camera angles with several camcorder-like shots - again emphasising the stripped-down nature of the concert. Although the show is relatively dark in terms of lighting, the picture and sound quality on the DVD is great.

For fans like myself, who loved the first 'Bare Bones' CD, I strongly recommend getting the DVD/CD 'Deluxe Edition', as the new CD is a perfect companion to the previous release, and it's great to be able to listen to all those new and different songs without having to watch the DVD every time. I now have both shows together in my iTunes library!

5.0 out of 5 stars DVD works in all regions!, 14 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this DVD expecting it to be Region 1 as described on Amazon, meaning I would have to play it using a special program on my computer. However, to my surprise, I found that the DVD has no region coding whatsoever, so I could enjoy it on my UK Region 2 DVD player with the surround sound.

This is definitely one of Joan Rivers' most offensive shows yet, most of the DVD is of her insulting various groups rather than telling her usual tongue-in-cheek jokes. There is far more shocking material here compared to her previous comedy specials. However, if you are a hardcore Rivers fan like me then you will love it all the same.
