4.0 out of 5 stars Great book, 26 Sept. 2013

I love this book. The photos of the dolls are fantastic. I'm not sure if it is suitable for a beginner though, I feel a certain amount of previous experience is needed just to work your way around the patterns. It can also get quite confusing when it gives directions as it tends to jump around using different patterns from different dolls. Not in my opinion easy if you had never made a doll before, in saying that the dolls when made do turn out very well. This book would be helpful for most doll makers

Angelina Fibre Warm Introduction Pack
Angelina Fibre Warm Introduction Pack

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product, 25 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a very easy product to use. The colours are very vibrant and give a wonderful shine. Even with no instructions in the pack it was simple enough to work out how to use the fibres. I think fibre artist or mixed media artist would enjoy this product. I used it for little doll wings and they came out great. I think the only down side that it could get rather expensive if used on a large project but for small projects it is very effective.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bath Bomb by cozy, 22 Mar. 2010
This review is from: Bath Bombs (Cozy) (Paperback)
This little book is an absolute delight to go through. Very easy to follow guide lines. great colour photographs that shows just how the product would look once finished. The book also gives great options or ideas of what else could be used as a mold if you couldn't get the one used in the book. There is a great section also which explains the use of aromatherapy oils and what blends well. In short I would give this little book a 5 out of 5!!

I found this book to be aimed more at children. The sculpting techniques were very course with no real definition and the finished articles were rough and very child like. The makeing of the armatures may come in handy but if you take sculpting seriously then this is not the book you should buy. I feel if you were just starting out this may actually hold back your learning of the process of blending your clay. My verdict, not a good learning tool!
