This is excellent. It tastes delicious - like slightly bitter marmalade - and is free of sugar and artificial sweeteners. The price is very fair, and delivery is quick with the six-pack of jars well protected by bubble-wrap. Highly recommended.

Written in a style that is accessible, friendly and packed with information, it gave me a couple of 'light-bulb' moments that got the creative juices flowing and ideas buzzing. This toolkit is a must-have.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fun read, and more., 12 July 2014

This short book held me from first page to last. Written in simple language that's easy for children and young people to follow, it also holds valuable lessons for parents about the undermining effects of expectations. The story moves along at a cracking pace, full of achievements and set-backs. It also tackles complex issues of self-worth, bullying, and the appalling short-sightedness of some teachers who have favourite sports and have little time or patience with children who don't fit a mould. It shows how having money does not automatically confer self-esteem, and that all the latest kit won't produce a better sportsman. Best of all, the pride Joe feels in pushing through set-backs and pain to be the best he can, and doing so honestly, offers a terrific example for young people coping with the trials of growing up.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fast-paced and fun, 9 July 2014

There was so much about this book that I enjoyed. It was fast-paced, fun, the backgrounds were interesting, the plot hurtled along. Knight and Trask are likable characters and the backgrounds are brought to vivid life. Some scenes I found especially good: e.g the one in which Trask reveals his background and his insight into why he's so powerfully attracted to Katie Knight. Javier Sol and Robert Crozier were contrasting 'baddies.' The Longchamp and tennis scenes drew me right in. But while the fast pace of the story worked well in one way, it also left me feeling short-changed. The spy stuff was excellent, well-thought out and plausible, as was Cordelia as Number One. For me - and this is simply my preference - the love story wasn't developed enough. Though both characters said they knew that falling in love with each other was absolutely the wrong thing to do, their inner conflict wasn't explored in scenes on the page. In the love/sex scenes I'd like to have seen each of them trying to sublimate these powerful emotions they didn't expect and that cause them as much grief as joy, only for both of them to find they craved more than hot sweaty mindless sex, and were shaken to find themselves needing to give and receive tenderness. That said, for Knight & Trask there's certainly enough potential danger in their chosen jobs and conflict in their relationship to warrant a series.

Straight Face

4.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating but sad., 4 July 2014

This autobiography reveals much of the man who proved himself such a superb screen actor. in the 'Yes, Minister' and 'Yes, Prime Minister' series he could suggest an entire page of dialogue or direction with the simply lift of an eyebrow or a half-smile. His 'Madness of King George' was a tour-de-force. He was a master of his craft. But the book reveals a man plagued by self-doubt, who accepted bad situations for fear of hurting others though they cared little about hurting him. Being gay was less acceptable then than it is now, and no doubt this added weight to the loneliness that emanates from this book. I'm so glad he found the happiness he deserved.

A fascinating book which reveals as much about the difference between law and justice as it does about the case. As this is an ebook and was published some years ago I'd have liked to see an additional chapter or Afterword detailing the latest developments.

The fit is excellent, the material does the job perfectly, the price can't be bettered. The one drawback is a sweetish musty smell that is only now beginning to fade (after two weeks) But that's a small price to pay for a darkened room and better sleep.

The curtain linings do the job perfectly, the size is accurate, they were delivered quickly, and the price was excellent. My only grumble is that they have a sweetish musty smell that after two weeks is only now beginning to fade.

I'm a huge fan of Jodi Taylor's St Mary's Chronicles. Could she maintain the same brilliance with a contemporary book? She has, with bells on. It was an engaging story beautifully told. Everyone who has ever been hurt, abandoned, or deeply unhappy should have a Thomas. Every character was well-drawn and Russell was a perfect foil for Jenny. The donkey's arrival had me shaking with laughter. Other parts of the book moved me to tears. Jodi Taylor makes fantasy completely believable.
