This is an absolute must read for anyone who is thinking of abstaining or voting remain in the forthcoming Referendum. It is beautifully written and is a courageous account of how far the EU has gone off the rails with devastating consequences for Europe. It sets out a positive case for Britain regaining control of its own affairs from the European Union whilst engaging with Eurpoe and the rest of the world. Dan Hannan successfully demolishes the scare stories peddled by the Remain campaign and explains the motivation behind some of them.

If you care about Britain. You need to read this. With relentless analysis and careful explanation, levened by dry wit and humour Dr Butler sets out clearly the threats to our liberties, public services and prosperity in Britain today. David Cameron should make it required reading for every member of the shadow cabinet. I could not put it down once I started reading it and although I was familiar with the events it describes, it is the sharp focus on the systemic damage which has been wrought, which makes it such an illuminating and devastating critique.
